This is a very good book on CD, and is life-changing material, if you are willing to believe in something that may sound VERY different to you. Most people do not believe in this way. "The Amazing Power of Deliberate Intent" is the entire CD. Part 1 is "Living the Art of Allowing" and is a collection of 4 CDs, narrated mainly by Jerry Hicks. Part 2 is "Living the Path to Joy Through Energy Balance" and is a second collection of 4 CDs. You really want to buy both packages to get the entire book.

Abraham is a collective consciousness who speaks to Esther. She then relays the material. The material speaks primarily of metaphysical energy and its relationship to all that there is. It goes in-depth into manifestation by aligning your personal vibrational energies to match what you really want. Again, I know that's a hard concept to swallow, but that is the Law of Attraction. You really DO get what you think about. I have been studying metaphysical energy for about the last 7 or 8 years and I have seen the evidence soooo many times. Unfortunately, because of fear and control and many other negative personal vibrations, people usually think about what they DON'T want and that is what they manifest. Put simply, instead of seeing their car running smoothly on a log trip, they worry "What if it breaks down?". Instead of thinking about money in a positive way, they usually think of a LACK of money, and generally worry about it. So, they usually get what they do NOT want.

Anyway, this set of CDs not only explains the concept very well, but gives real-life examples and examples of the proper (aligned) thinking versus the non-aligned (improper) thinking, so you can begin to change your vibration to attract what you DO want. Like I said though, you need both CDs and an open mind, a VERY open mind. You also need to really work at this vibrational change to achieve successes with it. Even when you do achieve successes, it's hard to believe because we were just not conditioned to believe this way.

All that said, it's a great product and these are not the only authors talking about vibrational energy matching to manifest. What they say is right on target.

CD1, this set is slightly less than 2 and a half hours. The other CD set is slightly more than 2 and a half hours. Both sets together total over 5 hours of audio book material which you can easily listen to in the car on your way to work. These 8 CDs have the potential to change your life.

This is the second Abraham-Hicks publication I have purchased. Though I usually read books of this genre (self-help/motivational), choosing to purchase and listen to the CDs has been a great help. I listen to the CDs to and from work - which are a great way to transition from one setting to another.

This CD/book describes the universal law of attraction and provides many examples and games (exercises) to help you choose to improve your life.

The content is very similar to that of "Ask and It is Given" but there is enough additional information to make it still very much worth the investment.

I have purchased and listened to all the Abraham-Hicks material available and next to the actual "Laws Of Attraction" CD, this CD has to be the most insightful in furthering the distinctions of the actual Laws of Attraction. It has been very useful to me as a coach of the material and has helped my clients immensely. I would recommend it to any student of the Laws of Attraction to help give them a better understanding of how the laws work.

This is just like Abraham. The next logical step, delicious and just when you are ready for it. I love this one just as much as the first ones. I listen to them over and over especially when I feel like I am a little off course. The soothing truth points me right back to allowing.

I just discovered the teachings of Abraham. The books and CDs and DVDs with Abraham speaking are powerful and exciting! I did not feel the same impact listening to Jerry Hicks reading this book. The only advantage is being able to listen instead of read during work. The material is outstanding. The delivery on this one is not my preference.

This a good continuing series of workshop excerpts on various challenging life situations. Read by Jerry, this adds a little more color and warmth to the material.

This has helped me further my quest to understand this topic. It's clarity and exercises to apply what is taught has been great and has worked for me. Anyone who is tired of being the low man on the totem pole or the person who doesn't get much out of life, this is for you. And, if you do get what you want, this is for you as well. It teaches you why you get what you ask for. I find it very illuminating and review it often and gain more insight everytime.

I was extremely disappointed in this CD SET. Although I recognize Jerry's brilliance in The Teaching's of Abraham, he really should not be talking on these CD'S. Esther is so vibrant and captivating, I could listen to her forever! There is too much of a "contrast" in styles and Jerry is just plain boring. I would like to have returned this in exchange for material that Esther has recorded.

This CD answers so many questions about our part in creation. Best of all it teaches us how to create all of our deepest desires.

I was a little disappointed in this. It seems to be just a repeat of what was already on Ask and It Is Given. If you haven't read/listened to that yet, then this is OK, but I think Ask is better.
