Book has beautiful cover with people that never had cosmetic dentistry done.
There is not a single before and after that involves orthodontics and restorative. Everything is a 8-10 veneer case that results in average to low results in my opinion. Gives patients false sense of what is the right and most conservative treatment to get the job done. If there was a mix of treatment modalities, I wouldn't be saying anything, but all cases were aggressive veneers taking little consideration for function and even overall esthetics. I bought the book to put on my reception area, but I will keep it on my book shelf at home.

I'm an attorney so I'm skeptical by nature, but I really think this book is invaluable if you're thinking about improving your teeth with a cosmetic procedure. It provides an explanation of the various options (in simple to understand terms) and more importantly gives you the critical questions to ask your dentist before you commit to thousands of dollars. Also, a picture is worth a thousand words, and the detailed "before and after" pictures in the book can give you a good idea of what to expect and the type of results that can be achieved. I highly recommend it.

It is always important to do as much research as possible about the procedures you are considering as well as the doctor performing the procedure. This book is a great guide. Very comprehensive and honest.
