4.0 out of 5 stars Wow, it's actually pretty good.
I've been a Spidey fan for over 16 years and have a trunk full of comics to prove it. I stopped collecting during the clone saga because I felt they really lost it around that time. Now years later I decided to get back into it so I bought all the civil war stuff, back in black, one more day, brand new day vol. 1-3, and started my monthly subscription again. And I...

This story is everything that's wrong with comic books these days. We are dealing with a boring story that has completely gutted one of the best characters ever created. What is the point of this? If you can figure it out, please let me know.

And I gotta tell you after a few months of ready these Spidey books, I can safely say these stories are really good. It was kind of weird at first with Peter selling his soul to the devil to save his 100 year old aunt who can never seem to die. But it's actually pretty cool now because now it feels like things are back to how they should be. Petes' single again, friend's with Harry Osbourn, and back to trying to make enough money to pay rent and having to save NY at the same time.

Don't let all the negative reviews fool you. It's different, but at the same time it's how things use to be when Spider-Man comics were really good. Give it a chance and you might realize these are some of the best most entertaining stories they've ever come up with. I say buy them all.

This third volume gives you a little information about Mary Jane, and a new villian, PAPER DOLL, the art is great but the stoey is a little slow.
