Instead we hear about a few rather unremarkable dreams of the author and her rather preachy interpretations of her dreams.

Amazing Stories of Life After Death. I read this book twice. These stories have renewed my faith. I have pondered these personal accounts in my mind and heart. I am keeping this book with my Bible to re-read whenever I need some inspiration. The story, "Cole and Jesus" was precious. While the story "The Cage" would give people second thought, if they every thought about ending their own life. There are divine promises of life eternal and dire warnings of eternity in another place no one would want to be. And many more stories that will keep you turning the pages.
I have been recommending this book to anyone who will listen.

I found this book enjoyable enough to read, and it helps to give it some serious thought about the after life, however, what I disliked about it was the preaching side of it. I got the impression that the author was suggesting that unless you are a Christian, and go to church, you are not following Jesus and God. I follow them, I am a Christian, however I know good honest decent people who aren't. Does this mean they have no place by God's side? I don't think so. God loves all his children. However, the book was still a joy to read, and many of the stories were touching that brought tears to my eyes.

Thank you for listening to the voice of our heavenly Father asking you to share the experiences He has given you with others. I also have a desire to let everyone know the Holy Spirit is ALIVE and WELL and working in the lives of real people everyday! The desire is so strong, I bought several copies of this book to share with my church, business and my own patients. The comments have been: "I couldn't put it down", "I love reading true stories about real people","It really made me think". Too often we dismiss the daily workings of the God of our universe in our lives. We need more reminders to share His glory, to be encouragers, to lift up others, to point others in an everlasting way to see His glory. It is there, everyday in every way if we would just see it! Thank you again for sharing His glory for all to see! May it lead others to be bold enough to share!

I should have listened to the other one-star reviews - this book is not about stories about amazing angelic encounters or the afterlife - at least not until page 70 where I gave up.

Instead we hear about a few rather unremarkable dreams of the author and her rather preachy interpretations of her dreams. It's also about her nursing career and the experiences she had with her patients. I found these experiences uninspiring to the extreme as the author does not like to be a nurse and is very afraid to be with a dying patient even though she calls herself religious.

What annoyed me most of all is her description where she 'assaults' a dying patient who is in a coma by preaching to him about Christianity. I nearly threw up. How dare she? Firstly, it is illegal and secondly it is highly highly unethical to inflict this onto a dying comatose person who may actually be able to hear her but cannot tell her to shut up. He might find her preaching extremely offensive.

Not recommended!

I was absolutely captivated by the true stories detailed in this book. Though I don't know the author personally, I do know someone who does, and they have verified the authenticity of her honest character. The stories that impacted me the most were the ones where the unsaved where revived from death and realized that they were about to spend eternity in hell. I have a friend who experienced the same thing and it totally changed her and her family's lives. I wish everyone could read this fascinating book.

This book did not live up to the promotion of "true accounts" of afterlife, etc. The focus seemed to
be more on how the author endured her years in nursing. The book was disappointing because of the
gap between "what it said it was reporting" and what was actually reported. If the book had been described
as "my life in nursing," then it would have been more accurate.

This book provides the inspiration and knowledge that through faith how our Lord Jesus and His Angelic Beings guide and protect us here on earth. It will enlighten and increase one's awareness of how Gods Love baths our souls in his Goodness and Light. How we can receive His Communion in our everyday life as we walk with Him. We are shown the depths of His love and how the Lord protects and guides us. I can't imagine the feelings of hopelessness, dome, fear, death, loneliness in a life with no meaning. I ask the Lord Jesus to come into my heart many years ago. My life will never be the same. Jesus died for my sins that I might have everlasting life. He is my life line to that heavenly place, a place that I will have a wonderful reunion with my love ones some day in the "Awesome Kingdon of God."
The author, Liz Gwyn does a wonderful job writing the true stories about our everyday lives, the miracles, the transformations from this life to the next, the knowledge that there is hope, love, and everlasting life for those who believe. She writes about my two stories in the book, "Highway 21", and "Yes Lord", and many other true stories that will inspire you and bring you closer with Jesus.
God Bless you Liz for all that you do, and in all your endeavors.
Your sister in Christ, Rebecca Tomlin
