Good Solar Fun,

As an environmental educator, I am always searching for good activities to teach kids about nature and astronomy. This book is an excellent source of projects to teach kids about solar energy and general information about the sun. The activities contain easy to find materials and encourages recycling. The best project is constructing a solar oven out of a pizza box. Since most solar ovens are either expensive to buy or hard to construct, this project was the single reason I bought the book. There are many other ideas that would be easy for an educator to add to their lessons or classes, or for a parent to help their kids do something fun and educational!
