Great for older kids, good for name tags, keychains, etc,

My 11 year old has had a lot of fun with this and has made several zubber bands/bracelets for me and for himself. My 14yo made a couple of tie-dye looking ones that came out great. I think this product should have been marketed to older kids instead of 4 and up. You have to follow the directions carefully: mix the compounds precisely and thoroughly, make your items quite quickly (I think it was 6 minutes but I'm not sure--it's in the directions) and then be patient while it cures for 50 minutes. It took a couple of tries for my 11 yo to get a perfect bracelet but now he has the hang of it. My 14 yo's were perfect right away. The letter stamps can be used to make name tags for backpacks or musical instruments--make like a bracelet but then just cut them and punch a hole. We are also going to try writing on them with Sharpies. I'm not sure how long the bands will last but I think the fun is in making them.
