Highly durable, but some flaws,

I purchased this as a daily work bag. I am finding it suitable, but it does have a few immediately obvious flaws.1 - It is extremely 'jingly'. With all the huge metal zippers, it is impossible to walk with this thing without making a significant amount of noise. 2 - It is a little smaller than I had hoped. Some people will probably like this, but there isn't quite enough vertical space (esp. to fit a decent sized laptop). 3 - As mentioned by another reviewer below, the laptop case is handy, but not really large enough to hold laptops with screens larger than 14". 4 - The handle straps are too thin to comfortably carry heavy loads and the shoulder strap doesn't do a very good job of holding it's place on your shoulder. That being said, the thing gives the impression of incredible durability for such a relatively cheap bag. The material seems very strong and weather resistant and the zippers are quite sturdy. There are a ton of well organized and nicely sized pockets that allow fairly easy and quick access. It also comes with a convenient (albeit wimpy looking) combination lock. Overall, a decent value, but there are better options out there.

Excellent bag.... Very comfortable and holds lot more stuff then I originally thought. Comes with combination lock and there is a zipper in the middle to expand it by couple of inches is needed. I would compare this bag against TUMI computer bags, which cost about $395 to $495. Again, great job by Amazon!

I just received my briefcase, while I was expecting a top of the line bag, I am extremly impressed with the quality, light weight and features of this product. Amazon has done it again, they have filled a need in the "New Economy" era, a cool bag for us.

Just got the bag today. The bag is well padded, has high quality construction and plenty of organizer pockets. However it does have some shortcomings;
1. The laptop carrier is smallish and will not fit many of the modern laptops with 14+ inch displays. My HP 4150 Omnibook is about 1 inch too wide and the top flap does not close. 2. The carrying handles are skinny and uncomfortable when carrying heavy loads. 3. The shoulder strap needs to be wider so as to help with keep the bag in place and make carrying more comfortable. 4. There are no internal pockets capable of holding CD Roms or Batteries. The pockets on the laptop carrier are nearly flat and unsuited for this. This is a good bag for people with smaller laptops and light/Medium weight carrying requirements.

I am a teacher. This bag has so much room (the laptop sleeve lifts out completely) that I got everything in and left the tote bag that I used to carry with my briefcase at home. It is noisy-- too bad the zippers don't have those rubberized pulls that the Amazon tote bag has. It has many inside and outside zippered pockets that are handy for those of us who use our briefcase as a pocketbook as well. The bag is very well made. The carry handles are fine for me, but the shoulder strap could use some padding. Also the bag is so big that the strap doesn't seem to balance well. I only walk from my car, but I don't think I'd want to carry this on the subway.
