This is an exceptionally well made Polar Bear by Gund. This first edition bear is sure to become a collectible as it bears the amazon.com brand on the cap and is exclusive to Amazon.

The bear is super white and very soft. His ears stick out of the cap, and his fur feels "velvety" soft. It looks exactly like the picture. It comes in a sealed plastic bag. Very good since you want this bear to stay as clean as possible when you get it, and it can't stay much cleaner than in a sealed bag. The bear is about a foot tall and will fit in a child's arm perfectly. Snuggleable, huggable and lovable. I love it.

I bought this originally as a gift for a friend's kid, and ended up keeping it for myself. It feels like an average teddy bear - feels sturdy and well made. However, my dog decided that it was her toy, and now I need another one. If it's sturdy enough to survive attempted destruction by a vicious tiny dog, then it should be great for your home. And for the price, it's not bad.

Amazon.com should make more branded items.

I bought this for my daughter and can tell you she loves it. She's ~2 and we've been looking for a toy or object for her to "attach" too (security device) and help get her through the night. I can't be more pleased.

The quality is top notch and the materials are both durable and comfortable. Oddly, though it is a polar bear, the look somehow says "warm". The hat is attached to the bear, but only in four places. It is very secure, but could also be removed with some careful work. Not that is should be.

There are two things you should be aware of however. I was expecting the patches of the feet to be suede - they are cloth/felt. I also didn't realize that the white writing on the hat says Amazon.com. Call me naive and not paying attension on that one, as the listing makes it very clear :) While I'm not sure how I feel with a 2 year old playing with branded product, both of the above issues are rather minor IMO.

The price is well within line of similar products (in fact better than some).

Now, if only they came with more hat colors....!

Amazon should really make more Amazon branded products...but for now, this will do. I own multiple, and love them!

My 2yo is so into polar bears right now. This is nice soft cuddly one he can hug and throw around!

My girlfriend's little toddler absolutely enjoys his new teddy bear. The toy is soft and plush. The eyes and nose are securely attached so that they are not a choking hazard.

The 2008 Amazon.com exclusive limited edition polar bear by Gund was bought as a gift for an adult collector of plush bears. It was not purchased as a toy, but as a display piece, so I while I cannot rate it for 'fun,' 'educational value,' or 'durability,' I can say it is a unique collectable and brings a great deal of joy. It was a big hit with the plush bear collectors and that is why I give it an overall rating of 5 stars.

So cute! He looks great sitting under or next to our Christmas tree and on top of presents. Glad we got him and can't wait for him to come out again! (He is packed away with the tree in a plastic bag.)

This adorable bear is typical Gund quality -- cute, cuddly, and super-soft! I love the detailing on his paws, and think he looks very appealing in his blue Amazon hat.

This was a gift with purchase from Amazon.com for me and out of all the gifts my son received he loved this one the most on Christmas Day. This toy is of good size, very soft, and a great delight.
