This case looks a lot better from far away. U can see the cardboard and it opens backwards. I've come to the conclusion that it was a defective item, maybe that's why it was $20.

This was an order for multiple items. The Black leather Kindle Carrying Case is fine for protecting my kindle so I can carry it in my purse or luggage. I have no complaints with it.
The Amazon Kindle Clip-On Light is very poor quality and I would not buy it again. It is molded plastic and the small tip that holds the battery cover closed was too small to be effective. To hold the batteries in, I had to tape the cover on with pieces of clear packing tape.

I purchased this cover for my niece's new Kindle. She was happy and I was impressed with the nice quailty cover and it was great to get the light as a bonus.
