Toller Sound, pompöser Auftritt digitaler Klänge die einem dem Atem rauben. Der Film ist gelungen und der Soundtrack trägt zum grösseren Teil des Erfolges bei.
Schön das man über Amazon.com noch solche Raritäten bestellen kann :)

Amazon is a great, but unfortunately obscure score for the Imax film of the same name. Allan Williams uses a variety of themes throughout, mixed with native 'jungle music'. The main theme is powerful and exciting, even if it does borrow a bit from Waterworld. It is the secondary theme, which is actually used more frequently, that is the highlight of this score for me. It is a sweeping, beautiful woodwind theme that I assume, having never seen the movie, scores the scenes involving Mamani. In my opinion this theme alone is well worth the albums price, and recomend it to all film score fans. I personnaly have never seen this CD in stores, so your best bet would be to buy 'Amazon' from... where else? Amazon.com! |
