Amazon Treadmill Book Holder - Large/full Size

I have an older treadmill with no ipod plugins or book holders etc (though it does have a cup holder woohoo! lol). At any rate, as a student, I REALLY wanted to be able to read while I run and this little piece of plastic magic allowed that to happen. I can still see my treadmill stats (time, distance, speed etc) but most importantly I can see my book! Turning pages is a breeze and moving the book holder (sliding from side to side if I need to see "under my book" or taking it on or off the treadmill) is simple. No brains or effort required. (I LIKE SIMPLE).

Book Size is also a non-issue. I have used this with smaller paperback books as well as magazines and huge biology hardcover textbooks along with a variety of other sizes. It just works and I can even leave a highlighter laying on it for use (granted squiggly highlights are still an issue *grin*). I am tickled pink :)

P.S. it also works as a "stuff holder". I caught my daughter using it to hold her ipod, a dry rag, and her cell phone while she ran...

The one-piece plastic book holder is very helpful when reading a book on the treadmill or other exercise equipment. I'm pleased with the quality of the holder.

This is a good product ONLY if your treadmill is very narrow at the top where the lip of this book holder hooks on. If your treadmill is thicker than 1 1/2 inches and the entire top surface is 90 degrees from the top corner(meaning no bump or curve at the bottom preventing the book holder from laying flat) this product will not work. I had to go and buy some angle iron and double sticky tape and super glue (another 20 bucks) to make a shelf on my treadmill in order to have something for this book holder to hook on to. Amazon should provide dimensions so people can make a better decision.

Perfectly nice product, but I had to return it. The advertised 2" width for the hangers is an *outside* dimension. Really poor labelling. The inside dimension, which is what really matters for fitting the treadmill, is 1 5/8". So, 5 stars for the product, but -2 stars for improper advertising needlessly leading to a returned purchase.

This 'book holder' is perfect for my ipad. Perfect viewing distance for movies which make my 'speed walks' go quickly and while more relaxed. A set of headphones onto the ipad while I'm watching a movie and I feel like I can walk forever (or at least until the movie is over!). I was concerned when I ordered that the holder would be flimsy or not fit quite right (and break the ipad) - but it's solid and because it's oversized, fits perfectly.

For a few bucks and free shipping, this is the best deal I've seen in a long time.

I received a treadmill holder which was blue rather than clear as the one shown in the photo. I can't see the screen of the treadmill through the blue plastic, pretty useless. Returning it.

I purchased this item when I purchased a schwinn 240 recumbent exercise bike. It does not fit on the front consol of bike. It is too narrow. And now that I have assembled my bike I noticed that there was a crack in the corner of this book holder. Another useless item. Says it will fit both exercise bikes and treadmills. They were wrong!

This book holder helps keep me on the treadmill but I worry about how long it will last. The plastic is thinner than the ones I used at my previous YMCA furnished.

This works pretty well for my treadmill. The only this is that with some books it won't hold it open so I need to get a top clip. Also for my particular machine this rests right over the re-set button, so if I'm not careful when turning the pages I hit the reset button- but that's an easy fix. I just applied a hook with the adhesive on the back to the back of the console to elevate the book holder.

This one-piece Acrylic book holder works perfectly for me.
My use: on exercise equipment at the gym: upright bike, recumbent bike, stairmaster.

There are two ends to this piece. One end is broad and the other end is narrower.

In my case, the broad end fits over the top of the recumbent bike and the narrower end fits better over the upright bike and the stairmaster.
Whether mounted with broad end over handle or narrow end over handle, there is amply room for my book or newspaper.

In no case is this Book Holder a *perfect* fit for every exercise machine.

Conclusion: This is the best book holder I have ever had for exercise equipment in a gym.

P.S. Club = Gym with higher fees. Many at my club have asked me where I got this marvel.
