In the past, I've gotten Monster cables for some exorbitant price. I cannot detect a functional difference in these. Similar gold plating, similar solid connections, similar great signal. Way lower price. (And I do love the "just open the box" frustration-free packaging.)

Based on this item, I would certainly get Amazon connectors again.

Six feet of strong, durable video cable from my Sony RCDW500C Compact Disc Player / Recorderto my Mitsubishi LT-46149 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Integrated Sound Projector is perfect. Amazon's brand is top-of-the-line for quality. The cable ends are designed to be grasped firmly and the inputs are tight and secure without being TOO tight (as in unable to unplug them without damage). The colors make it easy to get the connections right. If you read the description, it has minimal signal interference (none that I could see or hear), are corrosion resistant and most importantly, has gold-plated connectors. This is important as gold is the best metal for carrying signals (also one of the reasons the best sounding CD's are sometimes remastered in Ultradisc II Gold, i.e. Trafalgar). Plus, for less than $10, this is an investment in your sound system. (Has a warranty too, which you'll never need).

The AmazonBasics RCA Component Video cable works just as well as the higher priced cables. I plugged it into my Home Theater system ans received a clear picture on my TV. I like that the price is much lower than the big name brands. The cables have good quality construction.

The 6 foot length gave me plenty of room to attach the TV.
After using this product, all I can ask is "Why pay more?"

The cables worked very well, I used them to connect an older DVD player that has no HDMI to a 40" Sony LCD FullHD TV. SO after exchanging the RCA cables to this cables the picture improved a lot, If you want better picture quality and do not have HDMI, this cables are much better than just RCA ( Audio and Video Cables)

. . . and they have the same problem: cable too stiff and bulky, that the weight threatens to damage the component out ports on my HDD recorder. Or sometimes they are so stiff, not all three connectors seat properly and I lose signal. They are even cheaper if you get them from Monoprice.

If you are looking for good-quality component cables for a reasonable price, your wish is granted by Amazon's bundled video cable. From what I have seen the quality of these cables is on par with many brand-name cables out there, and at the same time, can be had for a significantly lower price.

The leads are color-coded which really helps when you can't see both items you want to connect at the same time, and the 6 ft cable length is adequate without leaving too much unsightly cable in a jumbled mess.

There's not really much else to say about this product except that I'm glad I got it. When I need some more cables I'd be happy to get more of these!

Lastly, each lead says "Amazon" on it! This label may make these cables a must-have for the Amazon fan and video enthusiast :-)

I've been buying cable for electronics for over fifty years. In lots of instances, a wire is a wire is a wire; it's the quality of the connection that often makes the difference. These cables attach securely and easily, and that's what I want to happen. The color-coded connectors feel solid, though I would have preferred the color-band to encircle the connector completely to make it more visible in the dark recesses where these kinds of cables eventually hide. When connected to my current HDTV, I saw nothing to complain about picture-wise. These cables come with gold-plated connectors, and while I have never personally met anyone who can tell the difference between a TV picture displayed through such connectors versus connectors that are not gold-plated, it's nice to know that you'll be able to avoid the argument by purchasing these. Value-wise,I thought these cables were not monstrously overpriced, although you can find less expensive versions even on Amazon.

The packaging is, as the title says, frustration-free. The cable arrived in a plastic bag that was not sealed, and the bag was in an easy-open shipping box. For some reason, however, Amazon chose to put that box inside another box to ship to me, and I would have preferred to see less packaging waste. Indeed, the plastic bag containing the cable could have gone into a sturdy envelope, and both boxes could have been eliminated (thus reducing the cost of the product!).

This is a quality product worthy of the Amazon brand.

These Component cables work great. I use them with my Hauppauge HD PVR and I haven't noticed anything bad with them. But these don't come with the Audio Cables. Luckely, I had some RCA cables handy. But if you don't already have some RCA cables, either buy this and some RCAs or buy difference cables.

I have an older "HD-ready" LCD monitor that I mostly use to watch videos. It has DVI and component connections but no HDMI. My blue ray dvd player needs either component or HDMI. I first tried a DVI to HDMI cable but couldn't get the audio to work properly. (Yes, I know that DVI to HDMI needs a separate audio hookup. Still didn't work.) I'm not a fanatic about picture quality, but in my opinion, these component cables do the job nicely, with a clear, crisp image and good color. I'm very pleased.

Never again will I buy audio video cables from a local electronics store or best buy. Amazon has as good or better product and much cheaper!!! These cables are very high quality and can't tell the difference in resolution between these or monster cables. Plus they connect MUCH easier and more flexible. Nice product Amazon!
