It's a bit smaller than Apple's wireless keyboard but still easy to type on. Comes with 2 AAA batteries. Has a physical on/off switch and also a button to push for paring. Would be great if it came in white color. Works great on my iPhone and PC.

****Update Dec. 8****
Since many people are asking: It works with any bluetooth enabled device that supports HID (which 99% of the devices out there supports already). I have tested it with iPad 2, iPhone 4S, Windows 7 laptop, Macbook Pro, Blackberry Playbook and Asus Transformer.

I recently purchased this keyboard to work as my companion while I am travelling. I also wanted a second keyboard for my second PC which I mainly use for writing. I am an Android user and I wanted a keyboard which comes with most of those keys which I can use with any system -- mainly UNIX-based Ubuntu. This keyboard had an edge over any other keyboard because it has the function keys and the media keys. The keys are spread out well so you don't struggle. This video is about my experience with the keyboard. This is my first review :-)

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
A few months ago I got my first smart phone and really HATE typing on glass. This small bluetooth keyboard was offered to me in the Vine newsletter and I picked it to see if I'd enjoy using it, and if it would fit easily in my briefcase. YES on both counts.

Overall Size: 4.5 inches "deep" when sitting on a flat surface in front of you and about 10.5 inches "long." To visualize this, you could set two of those on on a sheet of 8.5" x 11.0" paper and have some white paper still showing.

Size of Keys: Each of the main keys (A through z; 1 through 9; enter/return; shift; capslock; control; command)is almost exactly the same size as the top portion of the keys on my Thinkpad T420s laptop and the spacing between them is about the same. The only difference is that this little keyboard's keys have flat sides at a 90 degree angle to the tops of them whereas my laptop's keys have sides that slope down so that the bottoms of the keys almost touch each other. The F1 through F12 keys are about half the size of the ones on my laptop which isn't an issue as I don't use them often. The left and right arrow keys are a decent size and the up and down keys are about 50% as big as the up and down keys - which isn't important to me.

Weight: very lightweight, even with the two batteries (which came with it - and I always appreciate that).

Functionality
1. The keys don't have that cheap "empty" feeling when they are depressed
2. The underside of the keyboard is thicker under the F1 through F12 keys so there is a slight angle to the keyboard but not enough to make it bulky.
3.

UPDATE (09/16/2012)
I just bumped my rating up from 3 stars to 4. The warping issue I mention in the review was corrected (see explanation below) and I use this keyboard almost daily with no issues. I'm very tough in how I rate tech devices, and because I nit-pick, this device did fall short of hopes and expectations. It's definitely not as well constructed as the Apple Bluetooth keyboard, but at half the price, it's a fine alternative and I'm happy with my purchase.

Original review:

After reading several great reviews about this keyboard, I figured I couldn't go wrong. I've owned mine for about 3 or 4 weeks now, and have used it pretty much every day since, switching frequently between my iPhone 4S and iPad 2. It is pretty comfortable to type on and pairing it back and forth between two difference devices hasn't been a problem at all.

Device Pairing
Repeated use with the same device, it remembers the device and pairs on its own when powered up and starting to type. Switching devices is as easy as making sure the computing device is in discovery mode and then pushing the "connect" button on the keyboard. A 4-digit code pops up on the device. Enter it and hit ENTER/RETURN, and you're paired.

Comfort
For a compact keyboard, it's pretty comfortable to type on. The keys are flat and shallow to press, which is standard for compact keyboards, bluetooth or not. If you've ever typed on a compact keyboard before and felt comfortable doing so, this should feel just as comfortable. It is slightly smaller than a standard keyboard, in terms of the square size of the keys and overall width of the keyboard from left most key to right, but it hasn't been trouble for me to switch back and forth between this one and a full size computer keyboard.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
I use my smartphone for business almost like a laptop, especially when away from my desktop computer. The problem with laptops is they are too cumbersome to carry everywhere and my phone does almost everything a laptop will do. There is one drawback though, and that is that the virtual keyboard used on touchscreen phones is suitable only for very short messages. And business emails usually end up being anything but short. A physical keyboard is what made the Blackberry so popular with the business segment of the market.

A tablet doesn't solve the problem, as they still have a virtual keyboard and a netbook is still too large to carry everywhere. When I finally do decide which tablet to get, the combination of this keyboard and the tablet will eliminate the need to ever carry a laptop again.

This mini Bluetooth keyboard fills a big need for me. Although I don't take it everywhere, it is easily compact enough to take with me when I know I will be using my phone for emails remotely. It is small, light and has good tactile feedback. And the keys are spaced well enough to touch type effortlessly.

I find now that I am grabbing it to use to type longer text messages when I'm at home, to compose emails and use for short word processing documents so I don't have to fire up my computer after hours.

It paired instantly with my phone and every app that uses a keypad instantly recognizes it. Since I use a lot of numbers in work documents it is head and shoulders above shifting from text to numbers on a smartphone.

You may notice I didn't say "iPhone" but rather smartphone. Although Amazon refers to it as an iPhone/iPad product it works perfectly with my HTC phone.

I consider the build quality to be very good.
