This cable looks, feels, and works great. I plugged it from my HD camcorder into my receiver and everything worked great. The cable has gold plated ends and also has a very sturdy feel to it, which makes me more confident that it will not kink easily.

One bonus is that the Amazon packaging means it is just a box with a twisty tie (the connectors have a small plastic protective end cap). So much better than the plastic packaging that requires a chainsaw to open.

To be clear, this cable is for plugging a mini connector such as your camcorder into your TV or receiver.

This is not HDMI MICRO(D type), but MINI(C type). Amazon doesn't have proprietary HDMI Micro cable yet, so don't get confused.

This is a high Quality cable that has the Amazon brand. We can all be pretty sure Amazon does not really make these, but whoever does makes em good.

Gold plated ends make for good connections between devices, and these fit securely for me. The cable is not flimsy or brittle, and at 6.5 feet (2 meters) length is fine for hooking most devices to your big screen or what have you.

I didn't get a chance to test the ethernet feature of this cable, as the devices I used it for did not have this capability.

Be careful when purchasing this item. One end is the standard hdmi, but the other is the mini c connector, used for things like digital video cameras, digital cameras, etc.
