Maybe this bundle just came out or something. I don't think the keyboard or mouse are any different than their standalone items, so you can probably read up on both of them by searching for reviews for each of the items in this bundle separately. Nonetheless, this is the bundle I bought, so I'm listing my review here.

Both seem like great items after the first day of use. I cannot comment on long-term usefulness, longevity, or durability yet, of course. But I'd recommend this bundle to anyone looking for a cheap and simple setup. The keyboard is a little "clacky" in my opinion - makes a decent amount of noise when typing rapidly - but that's alright for my use since it's just being connected to a desktop in my room, and I don't share a room with anyone else. It might be somewhat annoying late at night if you have a roommate, though, for example.

The mouse's buttons click nice and quietly. I haven't had any problems functionally or mechanically with either device. Again, I'd highly recommend it.

Last thing, not sure if Amazon always ships the same items in the same containers, but it comes in long, narrow box, because the mouse is packaged next to and not on top of or to the top of the keyboard. And this box was placed inside a particularly large shipping box for some reason. Again, not sure if Amazon always uses the same boxes to ship items. I just thought it was odd to see such a large box on my porch for a keyboard and mouse. You might want to take this into account if you live in an area that has high crime where a thief might be more likely to take a bigger box simply because he thinks it might contain a larger, more valuable item inside. Nonetheless, it only weighed 4 lbs, so my whole idea on this my be ridiculous.

Anyways, 5 stars all the way. I'd buy again in the future barring long-term longevity issues that may arise in the future. If they do, hopefully I'll remember to come back here and update this review to reflect those issues.

The keyboard portion of this bundle is pretty good... I like the low keys and of course the number pad, which was my reason for purchasing in the first place, as the keyboard apple shipped with my imac was some fancy wireless thing without a number pad, thus making the use of video editing software a bit slow. I tend to make more use of a full keyboard, number pad, Home, and End buttons.

I was perfectly happy with the mouse for the first couple of months. I needed something wired and with a click-wheel as I am not a fan of the standard Apple wireless situation. It seemed to be a cheap and easy solution to spending another 50 bucks to get one from Apple... and it seemed to have no issues.... at first, anyway.

Last month, I have noticed the click wheel has lost sensitivity. It takes many, many rolls to scroll down a short distance. I have contacted Amazon about a replacement or refund. I don't really see anyone complaining about this particular issue... Maybe I just got a dud.

I guess we shall see what happens when they send me a replacement.

I choose this rating because it's all good and no issues, and I like it :) (not love it lol because I don't love anything material lol)

Pros: Some amount of noise which is good to hear which is not too loud, Mouse is very comfortable & soft, keyboard is nice in size (not over size as other keyboard here, which can take space in desk), keyboard is comfortable and have nice extra functions.

Cons: None.

Would I recommend it over other keyboard/mouses? Yeah I would, no need to spend more money unless need specific things (both keyboard and mouse) like programmable keys in keyboard and extra keys or functions in mouse.

PD: This is my first non-digital order and my first review :)

The keyboard is probably as close as you can get to the feel of a laptop keyboard for a desktop without spending much much more. The chiclet keys are easy are positively and solidly responsive. You know you pressed one, and they don't kill your fingers doing it.

The keyboard has all the media keys I use on it. I only wish a few more of them were stand alone and did not require the pressing of the Fn key first. However, I don't find it to be a major issue. Just a little inconvenient in the dark. One positive I've noted, the keys do not leave enough room around them to allow much in the way of grit, food, dirt what have you, down into the keyboard itself. While it may be possible to get something in there, you'd have to really work at it. (Water/Liquid not included)

The only thing I have a little difficulty with is the mouse. It works just fine, but feels slightly small to me. Maybe someone with smaller hands would have less trouble. Using the mouse takes a little adjustment in how you hold it to compensate for its somewhat smaller size.

I've added this combo set to one of my permanent wish lists and will be buying a couple more sets to keep as spares, and will buy this set again when those wear out.

These Amazon Basics keyboard and mice are awesome. The most amazing part is the keyboard. The mouse is nice, but not as exceptional as the keyboard. The keyboard has a chicklet style key layout. And it is stretched out enough that it feels good to type on. It has built a molded, built-in stand so no little pop up legs to break or keep getting folded up. I love the caps lock light and num lock light. These are USB connected, not a PS/2 connector.

Many keyboards these days are nice, no doubt. But I'd say that this one kind of stands out in my mind. Glad I made the purchase.

I bought this to replace a Logitech keyboard that was getting a bit worn and dirty. This keyboard comes with volume, calculator, file explorer (my computer), media player and playback keys (Play, pause stop fast forward and rewind). I use this keyboard with Linux / Ubuntu and all the shortcuts work perfectly without any configuration.

Excellent keyboard, totally recommend it for my Macbook Pro, and here's why...

So I spilled some coffee (just a little) on my Macbook Pro keyboard and the Command key died... its an older computer so I decided I'm just gonna let it be broken and get a replacement keyboard to use (and yes, I have learned my lesson!).

Tried a couple of $20-30 bluetooth keyboards by 2 different makers, both purchased on Amazon, and both suck for different reasons. In my research I found Amazon Basics, their line of products that they, as no surprise, closely monitor reviews and ratings on Amazon.com and make product improvements based on those reviews. And the 3 Amazon Basics products I've used so far have all been superior quality to all other unknown brands.

I just love this keyboard! Its well made, the keys feel great and it looks good (high gloss black body, matte black keys). Comes with a mouse too, which I though I just throw out, but I tried it out and to be honest after using an Apple trackpad for a few years, its a joy to use a mouse again :). The mouse is nice too, matte black, very light weight, simple.

It's a Windows keyboard, so you'll have to re-map the command key and options keys, just use an app like Karabiner, 5 min fix.

The only minor gripe I have with the keyboard is there's no Windows/alt/control key mirror to the right of the keyboard, instead there's a alt, right-click glyph tagged button, function key and control key (in that order). That strange right-click key is not recognized by Mac, so it can't be remapped with the app I'm using. So be warned if you must have an identical set up as a mac keyboard on the right, it ain't gonna happen. Even still...

For the price to quality ratio, definitely 5 stars.

It would be great to have a Mac version of this keyboard, so Amazon if you're listening, you've got my vote to make one :)

I have only had this keyboard and mouse for about a week but have to say they are great can not go wrong for the price.

I have tested this combo on os x 10.10, windows 7 and ubuntu 14.04 and in all of them they work great.

As some have said the mouse is not perfect in osx but that is to be expected osx you really should be using a trackpad if you ask me .

They work flawlessly the only thing that I might complain about is the keyboard is a little loud but i kind of like that it makes noise telling me it works. It is not as nice as an apple keyboard but it is 1/4 of the cost. It gets the job done. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap decent keyboard and mouse.

The keyboard could have been better, but it's okay for the money. The mouse is fine, but for both products, the tail is way too short. Wish it was longer since had to use an extension cable to get it to reach correctly.
