This review is from: Amazonian Indians from Prehistory to the Present: Anthropological Perspectives (Paperback)
I am a professional geologist with a more than passing interest in the Amazon and the people who were able to adopt to living in that environment. This book is full of interesting information, but it is presented in a way that is more suited to a professional or graduate student in ethnology or anthropology. I am sure that I will be returning to it many times as I read more about the Amazon, and have a need for more, in-depth, information.
