This book holder has increased my exercise time 100%. Since buying this I've been much less reluctant to continue working out because I am no longer bored; reading keeps my mind busy and occupied while I work away the pounds.

I use this for holding my 8" Sony DVD player so I can walk on the treadmill at an incline and watch movies. With this holder, I feel comfortable knowing my DVD player won't go crashing to the ground.

This book holder works fine on our treadmill - even though our console is slightly rounded on the edge. We have read paperbacks, magazines, and hardcovers with it. The only trouble we had was with our hardcover being so heavy it pressed the buttons on the console. The holder is very nice and does exactly what we need it to do.

This is great for the treadmill. I had it at a gym and when I switched the new gym didn't have it. I went to a few department and book stores and could not find one. Then I looked on your site and you could have felt my smile from there...the rest is history...for all those reader/treadmillers...try it you might like it. I love it.

I purchased this book holder for my Schwinn 220 recumbent bike. It works well but due to the narrow book ledge on my bike the holder was a little unstable. Not to worry, I attached a velcro strip to the ledge and the bottom of the holder. Works great!!

I like to read while cycling on my stationery bike, but my physical therapist said I needed something that would prevent me constanly looking down as I have a herniated disc in my neck. This fits conveniently over the controls, and I can read and maintain good posture while cycling. I wish I'd had this years ago, but better late than never.

I gave this product three stars in error earlier - as I thought the item had been misrepresented when it hadn't. I inadvertently ordered a book rack that was too narrow in the top hook to fit on my treadmill, when I should have paid closer attention to the dimensions before ordering. I also didn't like the "lip" at the bottom because it makes turning the pages difficult. Since posting that negative feedback, I received e-mails both from Amazon and from the seller directly explaining that they DO offer racks with wider top loops and also one without a lip. So I recant my three stars and if I can figure out a way to edit the one already posted, I will do so...but figured this might help in any case.

It does fit over my elipitcal, but tends to vibrate off to the sides when the eliptical is in motion. I used a large size rubber band to keep it from sliding off, but maybe some kind of grabbers could be included in the design to keep it staionary. For a retrofit solution and the price - it was acceptable.
