My gym used to have tons of reading racks until one day there were only three. Those three racks became a hot commodity and disputes arose daily. Finally I got tired of the nonsense and decided to research purchasing my own. This was no easy task. All of the racks I found were clear. I wanted a rack that would be undoubtedly my own. FINALLY, I found a black one on Amazon. It cost twice the price of a clear one but I was not going to quible. I now have the rack. It is black and very sturdy. I have prominently marked my name on the front and back. I love it.

Perfect for walking on the treadmill and reading. You don't even realize how long you have been walking because you get so involved in your book. Very convenient to turn the pages, but it's the best with a kindle when you just have to touch a button.

Time on the treadmill used to be boring, now I can choose my favorite book and read while I walk. Pages are a little hard to turn, but still, I can combine two past times and benefit from them both.

I bought this to take to the gym with me, because the gym's book holders seem to be either missing or cracked and chipped beyond usability. The design works well, with a deeper shelf on one end to hold thicker books or to clip over a thicker machine. I was pleasantly surprised by how tough the plastic is; much more durable than the ones at the gym.

It holds up my DVD player very well. I like the black color which is different from the regular clear version.

This rack is a does not quite fit our Proforma treadmill. If I hang it over the top, the reading material is too far away and the lighting hits is strangely. If I hang it on the bar going across the treadmill display, the reading material hangs too low. The perfect spot on the face of the treadmill does not have a big enough lip to hold the weight of the rack and reading material and endure the bouncing of the treadmill...

I ordered this rack after my iPad sailed off my treadmill, landed on the floor, and broke. It's a good rack; keeps your book/iPad from wiggling, but can be pushed aside if you need to read the display. Also, it's cheap -- definitely a lot cheaper than replacing the iPad. Trust me; I know.
