About the Author

Margaret H. Dickenson has a degree in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Guelph. For 29 years, she has accompanied her husband, Lawrence T. Dickenson, in his Canadian Foreign Service postings around the world. She has taught gourmet cooking for the Ottawa Board of Education and Algonquin College, Canada. She is conseiller gastronomique of La Chaine des Rotisseurs, the international gourmet club. --This text refers to an alternate Hardcover edition.

This book provided the information that it set out to do in a very precise way. The recipes are laid out beautifully with gorgeous photos as well.

I found the recipes to be helpful and practical for someone who has to run a beautiful, palate pleasing, hospitality show.

As I chef who has been in the industry for 15 years or so, I still found helpful suggestions and great original ideas.
