5.0 out of 5 stars A memorable tale of a memorable woman., April 1, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: The Amber Enchantress (Dark Sun Novels, Prism Pentad, Book 3) (Paperback)
Now here's a fantasy novel, and a female protagonist, worth identifying with! Sadira sets out on a dangerous quest alone, leaving behind both of her lovers, because she refuses to let herself be fought over. Along the way, reminders of her past, including the father she's never known and the halfling chieftain she swore loyalty to in the first book, distract her from her goals. It takes beauty, strength, and compassion for Sadira to get what she wants, and fortunately she has all three

4.0 out of 5 stars This is one involving book., July 23, 1998

This review is from: The Amber Enchantress (Dark Sun Novels, Prism Pentad, Book 3) (Paperback)
The Amber Enchantress is an excellent book. When compared to the other books in the prism pentad series it finishes in the top. It has many intriguing sci fantasy characteristics that make this book a pleasure to read. It is a straightforward and well composed novel with pleanty of excitement and cool plot twists. If you like dungeons and dragons or liked the first to books in the series you have got to check this one out. Don't read the Amber Enchantress without at least reading the first book in the series or you won't be able to make heads or tales of it. This is a fun novel thats hard to put down. Its a great weekend read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best of the first three..., July 9, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Amber Enchantress (Dark Sun Novels, Prism Pentad, Book 3) (Paperback)
This is the best of all books - good action, great characters, interesting settings, magic, and, yes, even a dragon. While each book could be taken alone, there is a plot that started in the first book and continued all the way to this one. And beyond.
Sadria is a well balanced character, neither too good or too bad, just a human being, with flaws and merits. She wants to protect the city of Tyr but finds it hard to do, as she finds out more and more about the Dragon of Athas and more about her own magic.

4.0 out of 5 stars This is fantasy taken to the extreme!!!, February 27, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Amber Enchantress (Dark Sun Novels, Prism Pentad, Book 3) (Paperback)
This is fantasy I like. The normal old Tolken ideas, but given a really strange twist... well actually about 1,000 really strange twists. This book is easly the best of the series, and the most interesting to read. There is just so much to say about it, but I will let the book speak for it's self.
