1.0 out of 5 stars Almost Incest, September 7, 2004
This review is from: Amber Fire (Mass Market Paperback)
The story revolves around Melanie, Asa Parker (HER FOSTER UNCLE!!!), Stephen Hull, and finally Simon Young. The hero of the novel does not make an appearance before half the book is over. During which time Melanie has slept with her Uncle Asa and Stephen Hull, a worker at his factory. The description on the backcover would have you believe Stephen Hull is the hero, while its quite the opposite. Melanie seems to be the most cold hearted heroine I have ever encountered. Its not quite clear who she is in love with till the final page. The worst part of the book is the relationship between Asa Parker and Melanie. It disturbs me how someone can pass off a sexual relationship between a 46 year old man and his 16 year old niece as anything but abuse!!! I certainly would not recommend this book to anyone. Absolutely disgusting!!!
