I originally played this game back when I had my old Win 98 system, and I loved it....Kept the CD;won't part w/ it. The graphics were good (for it's time) and the storyline all meshed together nicely. The puzzles were imaginative-not too hard, not too easy. Unfortunately, it DOES NOT run on XP, so the only way to play it is to install Win. 98/ME on another drive or partician yours off and install one of those older OS's on it to play.....I wish someone would buy the rights to that game (since the company who made it no longer exists) so that it can be updated to run on XP. If anyone out there has access to an old OS, likes RP games & doesn't mind older graphics....I HIGHLY recommend this one.

I purchased this game for my old system way back in '98. For 1996, the graphics are gorgeous. The story is interesting and the puzzles are fun. I felt a little sad when it all ended.

I contacted this game's company several years ago, asking for information about their game and if they were developing any other games. I received a very gracious reply.

The company had disbanded, as it wasn't financially possible to continue. The husband and wife team who headed this company are now in entirely different pursuits. I must say that they are some of the nicest people I've communicated with regarding a product. I wish them the best of luck...and wish they could have put out a some new games! :)

All in all, great people, great game, great time!

This game is a lot of fun for spook hunters and paranormal buffs. Amber: Journeys Beyond offers four different worlds of paranormal discovery and interesting puzzles to solve. Fascinating information shown throughout offers intriging ideas about ghosts and how they perceive their "lives" and environment. I wish they'd make an Amber: Journeys Beyond, Part II!

A very good story and very easy to play. The scenario was well done and so pretty to look. There's no violence, just a very sad situation, but nice end. I loved to walk around the whole game! It's a very small game. I was having so much fun but it ended very soon. Family game. Nice and well thought puzzles. I had a blast. Just one thing if you are thinking about getting it. IT DOESN'T WORK ON XP. But it worked on my Windows ME with no problem. And I read some people saying it will work on Windows 98. Windows XP can't read this game to make the changes. Don't know why. I even asked a computer geek to help me on my XP. Didn't work. If you have an old version of Windows, go for it! It's a wonderful, but small game!
