Amber Brown Sees Red,
By A Customer
This review is from: Amber Brown Sees Red (Turtleback School & Library Binding Edition) (Amber Brown (Pb)) (School & Library Binding)
I am a seventh grader from Michigan and I read Amber Brown Sees Red for a book report project. I think evey student from ages nine to thirteeen should read the book. It's a story about a girl named Amber Brown who's dealing with school, friends, and family. Amber's parents are divorced and she lives with her mom and her mom's fiancee' Max. Her father lives in Paris , France, and he's moving back to the U.S. Whenever Amber's dad calls, her mom has to talk to him first and they always fight. Amber doesn't know how to get them to stop fighting and listen to her. When her father moves back, she will be living with him part time because of shared custody, but she feels split. Amber is getting so mad shes seeing "red."

I am a teacher of middle school students and feel that this book is on level. My students have problems just like she does at her age and she shows them how to solve them.

The best Amber Brown book,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Amber Brown Sees Red (Paperback)
I simply adore Amber Brown books!I love Amber Brown sees red because it is so funny. I especially like the bit when her school is full of skunks. My second favourite character is Brenda the Amber sitter because her hair is always a different colour, she wears wacky clothes, wears loads of earings and seems to be the best babysitter ever!Keep writing, Paula.

Amber Brown is a very fun and exciting plus spunky girl because of PAULA DANZIGER. She made Amber come to life and made a whole series about her. I love, love, love this book because of, again, PAULA DANZIGER! No offense, Tony Ross.(the illustrator). Let me give you one tip, add color to your pictures, please! Paula Danziger is a super author! Read one of her books and just see.

Very funny book,

I like this book because it is very funny. I like the setting and what Amber Brown does. I think anyone who has read a other Amber Brown book should read this book. One thing I don't understand is why the author calls it Amber Brown Sees Red. That is why I got confused. I do like this book because it is funny and that makes up for the confusing part. This book is okay for anyone who can read by themselves. It should not have a age limit. It is not a hard book to read, but is sort of grown up that will make kids feel grown up.

AMBER BROWN SEES RED,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Amber Brown Sees Red (Paperback)
Paula Danziger wrote an amazing series of books about Amber Brown. I chose one of the books to read, Amber Brown Sees Red. This book is about a little girl named Amber Brown whose parents have split up. She has always thought that they would get back together but after her mom got engaged to a guy named max. This book is like Ramona books because they are both are about a little girl that has whole bunch of hardships and they have a good sense of humor about themselves. I like this book and I would give it a five star rating and her other books too., READ THIS BOOK!

Another Great Read!,

In this book, Amber has a growth spurt, and is enjoying fourth grade. She is worried about her parents because they fight like children. Her mother is engaged to be married again and Amber is concerned about her love for her father. What's a fourth grader to do?

The book was ok. In most of it I thought it was very good. I thought the part when they had a skunk day was pretty funny. I rated it with four stars because it was a good book, just not the best.
