4.0 out of 5 stars goodness
Ambient Dub vol 2 feels less like a complete album than vol 1, but the individual tracks are better. It begins and ends with deep dark ambience. In the middle we have three nice long ambient dub adventures with some insane basslines played by Laswell and Wobble.

I don't know if i'm the only one to have the feeling that B.Laswell composes his stuff this way: morning-an album while having coffee; afternoon-two successive albums; an album before dinner and a few ideas while taking a piss before sleep. And the funny part is that if not wonderful then his music is at least highly digestive if i might say so:). Definitely interesting...

If the title sounds like something you'd like give it a try. If you like volume 1 or Laswell's other ambient/dub releases get it right now.

At least you never regret it:)

Take your time. The artists do. There are distinct rhythmic elements in some places, but don't presume to believe you know where they're taking you. I'll be looking for more "Ambient Dub" discs. This is what ambient should do for you. Take your time.

Both Wobble and Laswell have done far better things than this uninteresting mish mash of virtually nothing. Radioaxiom for example wipes it off the board.
