The now defunct 'Cleopatra' label with its dubious connections had a worthy division titled 'Hypnotic'. Devoted to ambient electronica purity.
This compilation is a collection of some talented artists from around the planet Earth. "Norman" & "Ynos" from germany, "Klange" from italy, a bunch from the USA, and two impressive grooves from amsterdam by "OB1" & "Virtalizer"..... OB1 - 'Fungus Magicus At P.9' is a head trip beyond compare. (please see our review of OB1 @ amazon) The previously unavailable 'One' by "Cluster & Eno" is now included in their full length (short) CD (2006). Well produced ambient tracks transport one across great intracerebral distances. |
