This product is great because it give me a quick look at what the temperature in my newborns room is.
I do wish it would be bigger so I could hang it on the wall. It is very small and would look weird hanging in my babies room

Our vent in the baby room sits right above the crib (logistically it's the only place to put it) So I decided to close the vent completely. After about 3 days I felt it got a little too warm in there hence why I decided to buy this thermometer.

Straight out of the box it read 90 degrees, which is about right for sitting in the shipping box on the porch in the shade in Florida all afternoon. After placing it in the baby room for 12 hours it read 80 degrees. I opened the vent just a bit and waited another 12 hours, it read 75.

So for me, although my experiment isn't scientific, I am happy with this product. Not to mention it truly goes great with any type of baby decor. My baby room is set in pastel's and butterflies and this thermometer looks cute on the wall above the light switch. It's not too big that it will be bulky and not too small that you have to squint to see it. No batteries required.
