Product Description

Use the portable sheet-fed TravelScan Pro 600 to easily scan and digitally capture documents, photos, or ID cards. Weighing only 12.2 oz. this small footprint simplex scanner is USB powered, eliminating the need for an AC adapter. The newly improved TravelScan Pro 600 now captures higher resolution color images at 600 dpi and scans a full page in only ten seconds. With a one millimeter deep paper path, the TravelScan Pro 600 also effectively scans driverâ?TMs licenses and most insurance cards. A three foot USB extension cable is also included for convenient desktop use. This product will install under Windows Vista®.

Bot my first Travelscan Nov 2003 - I use is all the time and keep it right by my notebook computer. Still works good as the day I bot it.
- A few problems: It doesn't like staples. It requires cleaning if you try to scan dirty things or wet ballpoint pen ink. It can scratch photos (use the included sleeve to save your photos).
- Now I have an 2nd notebook computer and want the same convenience.
- If you wonder how to clean it, either follow manufacturer's directions or do what I do: Spray Windex on plain white sheet of paper as it's feeding into the scanner - thick paper works best 24+ lb.

Works great! Images are very sharp and the scanner is definitely travel size. Perfect for trips to the library for instance. Scans well enough to use in place of a desktop unit, if need be. Best feature is that it will scan legal size documents.
