5.0 out of 5 stars A GUY WHO THINKS THIS IS A HOT, COOL BOOK
I'm a guy and my girlfriend couldn't get her nose out of this book so as a joke I started to read it. And it's really good. Seriously, I learned more about girls from this book than from any girl I ever talked to. It's like getting the inside scoop. Plus it's hilariously funny. The snarky girls are such bee-yutches ya gotta laugh. But I know girls just like this...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but not what I was expecting
Alright I'm a major fan of the A-list series. But, this book wasn't like the others. It's like Anna gave up her quest on finding herself and became obsessed with boys. She says she loves Ben, but once she meets Danny She forgets about Ben and goes for Danny. Plus she leads Danny on by pretending she's in love when she still thinks about Adem and the cute driver. It had a...

The snarky girls are such bee-yutches ya gotta laugh. But I know girls just like this chick Cammie who are so hot that no matter what they do, guys pant after them anyway. The main character Anna is very well written and reminds me of my gf (no I'm not just saying that because she's reading over my shoulder). All in all, a fun, cool book, easy read, and Zoey Dean has a wicked sense of humor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Blonde Ambition rocks :), August 31, 2005
Blonde Ambition the 3rd installment to the A-list series is the best book in the book out of all three. Characters personalities are being discovered more which I love with a well done plot.

We get too see more of Django which we haven't seen since the first book and he is just so laid-back & enigmatic which I just love. I'm glad Ms. Dean finally got rid of Ben, because honestly I couldn't care less about him. I love the friendship that Anna & Sam and I love Sam ever more.

Cammie a character I couldn't care less about was finally given some depth without taking out her 'caminess' something I longed for. The addition of Mia her new stepsister helped defines Cammie's personality along with Adam and I can't wait to see more of these characters.

Dee is still the flaky blonde girl with little use in the book and I find her pretty useless to the already fantastic cast.

Near the end where Patrice (Cammie's stepmom), Mia & her father confront her about what she did to Hermosa Beach was well-done, especially with Cammie having the last line.

In conclusion this book was fun with finally getting rid of Ben, Cammie becoming more human, Sam and Anna's growing friendship, Adam becoming more involved with the cast and the addition of Mia.

Ciao

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best One Yet!, March 12, 2005
I have liked the A-list series from the moment they hit the shelves. Granted, they aren't the best books for teens you will find out there, but they are enjoyable and good, light reads.

The first book was good, and the second was a little slow, but Blonde Ambition is probably the best in the series so far.

In this book, Anna continues with an intership at Apex, Cammie gets a new stepsister, Sam's dad gets a guest role on the new series Hermosa Beach, and Dee looks for love.

As compared to the other books in the series, in Blonde Ambition the characters are much more developed. You see a softer side of Cammie that was invisible in the other books. Anna, however, becomes a little less likeable. But the plot holds your intrest and makes you want to read on!

Overall, this book was great. Certianly not a new classic, but great for teens who are fans of the Gossip Girl and A-list series! :)

5.0 out of 5 stars An amazing novel by Zoey Dean!, November 30, 2005
A Kid's Review
"Anything is possible. Anything"

That statement is a perfect way to describe this book. Blonde Ambition, just one of the books in the A-List series written by Zoey Dean, is a fantastic book for teens! This novel contains the most drama possible to pack into a 233-page book!

Anna Percy, a junior at Beverly Hills High, has the perfect life, for a while. Anna comes from a very wealthy family. She makes good grades, she's beautiful, and extremely sweet. Then, she meets Cammie.

Cammie Sheppard, daughter of one of the richest men in Beverly Hills, Clark Sheppard. Everyone wants to be her, with her stunning looks and amazing talent for getting every guy she meets to fall for her. Cammie is basically the leader of the BHH A-List. But when Anna hooks up with Cammie's ex, Ben, the war is on.

Anna is offered an amazing internship at APEX by none other than Clark Sheppard. You can only imagine how this angers Cammie who consults in her two loyal followers, Dee and Sam. Until they both turn to Anna and leave Cammie planning her own eighteenth birthday party. Now Anna has everything that once belonged to Cammie and as Cammie always says "Revenge is sweet".

Will Ben and Anna make it? Will Anna's internship at APEX last? Will Cammie get what she wants and possibly more than she asked for? You'll have to read what, in my opinion, is the best realistic fiction book I have ever read! The girls are bitter. The drama is raw. Zoey Dean did an amazing job at keeping you on the edge of your seat. You'll never be able to put this book down!

5.0 out of 5 stars A-List #3: Blonde Ambition, June 27, 2006
Once again, I am addicted to the A-List novels. I started reading it, then got bored, then picked it up again a few days later and read it all the way through. I loved it. This one had more action in it.

Okay, so Ben and Anna are together, and then Anna gets an interneship with Clark Sheppard, which is Cammie's dad. Cammie is really mad, and she tries to get revenge. She's also mad at Sam and Dee because they seem to be hanging out with Anna more, so she starts trying to get Adam from Sam but then when she kisses him she thinks there's something more.

Anna and Ben have problems too, when Ben doesn't go back to Princeton. Then, when he does she and Danny are together.

I wish Anna wouldn't do this. I mean, maybe Ben isn't best for her but she is being such a player.

Either way, I loved this book

It had a lot of backstabbing, scheming, and drama but that's all that was good about it. I thought it was worth the read if you read te first two. Just be prepared for disappointment

4.0 out of 5 stars Great... but not, excellent, December 21, 2004
This is the story of a highschool over-achiver. Scratch that, a "popular" Highscool overaciver. This books revolves around the main character who's name is Anna Percy. Shes gorgeous, smart and is a full fledged boy magnet. She attracts boys like bright lights attract flys. She even got one of the most sought after boys in all of beverly hills to fall madly in love with her. And thats were the A-list story basically begins.

Anna and Ben have been going out for a little while, and His jealoud ex-girlfriend Cammie is doing everything in her power to win him back, but one of Cammies best friends is claiming that she is pregnant with Bens baby. Her other best friend is having difficulty deciding whether she is in love with Ben or with ANNA! (weird twist!)

When Anna lands an internship working on the set of the newest and hotest teen show "Hermosa Beach," She is totally pleased. But when she finds out that her boss will be Cammies father, her confidence shatters.

Cammie on the other hand, thinks this is a gift from god. She feels that this is the time to get rid of Anna Percy once and for all!

2.0 out of 5 stars it was ok, August 30, 2004
i was excited to read the third book of the a-list series cause the first two were so addicting. i thought this book was fun to read, even though i thought the story was stupid. ben turns into this over-possesive boyfriend, which totally comes out of nowhere, i think the author just wanted to get rid of his character. and i don't like how every guy that anna mets like, falls in love with her. shes kind of a hard character to relate to and in every book i like her less and less. i think cammie saved this book, and made it fun and sexy. its really annoying how everyone is turning toward anna and away from cammie, because she is the only interesting one. i hope in the fourth book, they keep more of cammie, and get more of anna's friend cynthia and bring back susan. ben will probably be back somehow but does anyone want to see him back??? and django will probably have a big part in the next one because his character keeps building up but hasn't gone anywhere with it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Blonde Ambition, May 23, 2006
By
Cheerleader13 "Kasey" (Arkansas, Camden USA) - See all my reviews
Just like the first two books of the A-list series, Blonde Ambition got it's winning strike for one of my favorite books yet. Anna Percy is trying to choose the right one and has many offers too. Ben, her first love, Django, her dad's driver, Adam Flood, a friend, and finally, David a guy that works on the set of Hermosa Beach a new hit TV show where Anna had a job as an intern. And all through this, Cammie, Sam, and Dee are challenging for attention from them. Cammie finds a boy she thinks will be the one. But the catch is that he's a "good" boy. (At least compared to her) Sam is challenging Popi, her very pregnant stepmother, for her best fried, Dee. She also feels that nobody cares about her mostly her father. And Anna is caught up in the Beverly Hills drama fest. This book is probably not right for boys unless they think they can tough it out through the drama, it is not what I consider boy material. Zoey Dean's 1-3 books have been best sellers ever since they hit the shelves. This book always left me on my toes wondering what was going to happen next. It was very good and interesting. I can't wait until Zoey's next book hit our town so I can enter the world of Anna, Cammie, Dee, and Sam again.

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVED THIS BOOK SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!, September 2, 2004
Okay, I admit I am already addicted to The A List from reading the first two books and I couldn't wait to get this one. The book took a surprising turn in the romance of Anna and Ben. At first I didn't like that but by the end of the book I just wanted to read more about what will happen with them. Like before everything was just too perfect with them. My favorite character is Cammie because she reminds me of this girl at my school who is also rich and beautiful and totally mean, only Cammie does it much better! The way Zoey Dean writes makes you feel like you are right there living inside the book. I wish I was Anna! Zoey Dean is now my favorite writer because she really knows how teens think and feel, even teens like me who aren't so rich. Also what makes this series different and better than some others is that you can really like Anna, plus the dialogue sounds like what kids actually say. Read this book you won't be sorry!!!!!
