Why do I like these so much? Because the other two sets of measuring spoons I currently own are too shallow to hold liquid. The Amco spoons are a lot deeper than your average measuring spoon, so I find it a lot easier to use when having to measure out liquids when I'm cooking. They also seem to be a lot more sturdier. My other two sets are getting bent out of shape, and I'm afraid they will break in two. I'm very pleased with the Amco set.

I love the set of stainless steel measuring spoons I ordered through Amazon.com. They are so durable compared to the other plastic spoons I've owned, which always seemed to be getting chewed up making it almost impossible to read the unit of measure on the spoon. Also love the round shape and long handles that make getting into small places much easier. I plan on having these quality spoons around for years.

These spoons are 18/0 stainless steel. That means it is composed of 18% chromium and 0% nickel. Nickel is added to stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability. 18/10 is better than 18/8 stainless steel, and 18/8 is better than 18/0.

There are spots of black metallic residue all over the spoons. I don't want whatever this stuff is in my food. There are also cracks around the rim of one of the spoons.

I'm disappointed with these measuring spoons and will probably discard them.

How many measuring spoons do you need in a set? Just four.

After reading all the positive reviews, I bought this set on Amazon.com six months ago. The spoons are sturdy and heavy-set, with their curvature perfectly shaped to measure both dry and wet ingredients. Unlike ones made of plastic or aluminum, the stainless steel construction makes the measured ingredients slide right off without leaving messy residues. Also, its stream-lined design makes its cleanup a breeze.

For many years I have been working with inferior spoons. I had mostly plastic sets and Aluminum ones (I think they were aluminum). Boy was I glad to get this set. The spoons are really well made. First of all, they're heavy and not flimsy like those plastic or aluminum ones (which feel like they'll break at anytime). Secondly, I haven't been able to tarnish these spoons (Unlike my plastic set that was stained pretty badly). I recommend this set to anyone who had to go through life using those flimsy, inferior spoons.

These are poorly made, they seem to be made of a very cheap stainless steel, and there are marks on each of the spoons and handles which make them look like they've been used. I'm not sure if I just got a bad set because all the other reviews seem good.

I got these because they look great and because the measurement is inscribed in the spoons rather then stuck like stickers.

These are well-made spoons, not junky at all, which is always a possibility with cheap, mail-order items of this type. The steel is heavy-gauge, and all the edges are rounded and safe. Good value and a good way to "top up" an order.

These are great quality measuring spoons. My only reserve is because they don't fit into any of my small the jars of spices and the salt shakers that I own. It is a little less accurate to fill the spoon bowl, by having to pour the ingredient in the measuring spoon, than if the whole spoon was dipped in to the jar and then shaken gently still in the jar to get a level spoon of an ingredient.

These are nice measuring spoons. I needed an additional set because I bake a lot. I got these and I am not displeased. I can read the amounts on the handles too, and since I need reading glasses for all up close work, its' nice to be able to read these without glasses.
