I make different soups, sauces, frying, basicly food that requires large utensils to stir, mix, flp, you get the point, I had a smaller basic size spoon rest for years, and was always anoyed at how the spoons, spatulas was sort of in the spoon rest, but falling out, I almost jumped for joy when I came across this one!, plus its stainless steel, and huge to fit my large cooking utensils, couldnt get much better than this, now I always smile when I see this, such a fantastic addition to my gourmet kitchen, and matches my cuisanart stainless cookware set, yes this is not bright shiny mirror finish, but brushed steel, no matter to me, as lots of utensils are finding their way in and out of it so much, one note though, dont know why so many onther reveiwers were shocked by the size, its cleary there in the item descripton, 10 1/2' by 5 1/2', now after using this, its pretty clear to me that the other usual sized spoon rests are more like for tea spoons, and not serious cooking, cant say more love the size, nice weight, not cheap at all, beauitiful stainless steel, something tells me you wont come across another one like this it it sells out, get one while you can.

Little warning: this spoon holder is HUGE! It's not as shiny as in the pictures which was disappointing, but for it's intended purpose it easily gets the job done. My girlfriend loves it, which is great because I am not a cook, so as long as she likes it, that's all that matters!

I bought this as a gift for my son and he likes it. It is as shown except it is huge. I will hold more than one spoon, fork, etc.

This product serves the purpose for me it just looks good on my stove and it serves its purpose.

I Love the large size of this spoon rest. It is so helpful that it can fit more than one spoon!

This thing is huge, it barely fit between my burners but it is solid and pretty and big enough to hold any utensil. Love it.

I was surprised by the size of this spoon rest, but it works well. It's more than 10" long and more than 5" wide, and is shallower than the picture appears. It does it's job though, and won't break like ceramic/porcelain ones.

Durable and easy to clean with a nice large size spoon rest; not the usual small sized rests. Rest is cupped to hold extra runny sauces dripping off spoons. I have 2 of these and plan to buy them for my daughters.

This is a great spoon rest! Nice & heavy, stainless finish really holds up. I like it!

Now this is a spoon rest!! I broke my decorative one that was also large but pottery; this will be my forever spoon rest. I like the large flat surface for spatulas, big spoons, etc. Big, heavy, good looking, wonderful!
