I like that the stand is made entirely of stainless steel and is adjustable for all reading angles. It's also sturdy enough to support even the heaviest cookbook! The clear plastic cover is great too- I've already saved some of my newer cookbooks from accidental splashes!

I don't have a lot of counter space and this breaks down quite easily. The base is quite heavy so there is no tipping when larger books are in there. The guard is plastic so to clean don't use anything abrasive. My only wish would be that the plastic guard were larger. My oversized cookbooks aren't completely protected around the edges and I am a very messy cook. Overall though I would recommend it for ease of use and it's ability to adust to any thickness book.

This cookbook stand has worked ok for me. It looks nice, and the plastic shield is certainly helpful, but this stand does not support/fit my large cookbooks. Also, there is not enough back support for my paper-back cookbooks; they just kind of slouch. It seems to be made for only one kind/size of cookbook. I'm not too impressed, and I'm looking for a more substantial cookbook holder.
