This is a great spoon rest for serious cooks. It's big so easy to use with several spoons and the flatness makes it so will not tip over which is very important. I know several people though it was not elegant or too bulky and if you want something pretty for your kitchen, then this is not for you but if you want something that looks good, works amazingly well and will fit in any kitchen for cooks, this is a must!

We used to just plop down our cooking spoons and such on the counter, which inevitably leads to a bit of a mess. Ordered this from Amazon, got it quick, and it is awesome. This is a top quality item, very well made, and is good size too; you can fit a few things on it at once.

Because it is flat and not spoon-shaped, this spoon rest has multi uses in my kitchen. My salt and pepper grinders "leak" when on my counter. I set them on this spoonrest when not in use and it makes it much easier to cleanup the salt and pepper. I've had mine for a few years, I bought this one for my daughter so she can solve her problem of salt and pepper grinds all over her counter too! Fits right in with all my other stainless steel appliances. Of course it also makes a great spoon rest!

I know this is just a spoon rest and in the end, any dish would do. But this spoon rest was just so great I had to put in my review and recommendation for it! I have no complaints, it is heavy and doesn't move easily when you throw all your utensils on it. Also very easy to clean, just a quick brush and all stains are gone! Great addition to the kitchen, even if it's not a cutesy spoon shaped dish!

I am quite surprised by one of the reviews. This is a heavy-duty, well made product. It is definitely brushed stainless steel, unlike what one of the reviews says. I am confused by that review. They must have a different product. It is not shiny at all. This seems like it will last forever.

Cons: very utilitarian design

As the others have said, this product is attractive, heavy duty, and an excellent buy. It is plenty large to hold everything from a spoon, to a spatula, to a ladel. I can't ask for a better product.

Very modern in appearance. Purchased as a gift, very satisfied. I have had exact one for years and it still looks brand new.

Big enough all right, but has sharp edges and doesn't look "finished" like a Kitchen tool should look. Heavy, tho, with a flat bottom, so tends to stay put. Label stuck on the bottom was horrible to get off (WHY do companies do THAT?) but thats SOP. Mine was made in China - as now ALL AMCO products are - so the quality issues that others did not seem to notice may be a result of new offshore production. The shiny SS gets spotty and looks messy, but item is dishwasher safe. All together, functional, but not attractive, in my opinion, and at twelve dollars, its expensive for what you get. Anyway, my kitchen is small and plain, so the inverted lid of a pyrex bowl works just fine as a spoon rest and it goes right in the dishwasher afterward!
