Why waste your time chewing on a corn cob. Cook the corn and then strip the corn from the cob in a matter of minutes. We had an older cheaper version of this one that we ended up wearing out after a few years, but this one is top of the line. Once you use this, you will never eat corn on the cob again or want corn out of a can.

I purchased this giving it the benefit of a doubt based on the couple good reviews versus 1 poor....bad mistake!!! The handle is made w/ very sturdy metal; however, the material that actually cuts the corn (the little circle in the middle) is so thin and pliable that it bend almost immediately. How they made such a great handle and such a crappy cutting piece is beyond me!!! I'm returning mine immediately. We didn't make it through two ears of corn and I was completely over it....don't waste your money or time!!!

My wife ordered this product for the same reason people are mentioning above. We wanted to option to just eat the removed kernels, or better yet, used it so we don't have to buy corn in a can. Well we received the product, and the first time using it, the blade ended up bending and twisting on us. We were pretty upset, but amazon was willing to refund us our money. I would definitely never recommend this product to anyone!

Arrived on time as as expected from Amazon. Works very well for a young granddaughter who just lost her two front teeth this summer.

This product, better quality than most of its kind, is useful for those who want kernels of fresh corn, not frozen or canned, but are unable to bite into the cob, but awkward and somewhat difficult to use. Still, my wife considers it better than nothing for her needs.
