Customer Reviews

When I used it on the Corn it cut about 2/3 of it off the cob.

I gave it ONE STAR because it wouldn't let me post my review without highlighting a star (it deserves no stars)!!!

It was awkward to use and you have to be careful not to touch the blades.

Don't waste your money on this. They make it sound great without mention that you need the exact size cord to fit this for it to work. There is no adjustment so 90% of your corn will be either too big or too small.

I got this because cutting the kernels off the cob always makes a mess, and this looked like it would eliminate that. It is fantastic!! I don't know why the other reviewers had a problem with their corn fitting -- we had corn of all sizes and it worked without any problem. You just have to make sure to start at the small end. I'm getting more of them to give as little gifts -- everyone who visited us and saw it work wants one.

A smaller ear of corn would not even fit into the hole. For some reason, I thought the hole was adjustable. It is not, therefore it didn't work whatsoever. It was thrown away the same day it was tested.

The unit is great for the first corn you strip. Then, good luck getting the corn out of the unit. With sticky wet corn covered hands, you can't open the ridiculously tight unit, AND the corn does not pour out of the spout as promised. It gets stuck.

Not all corn are the same size, this is not usefull. It take a ridiculous effort just to push the cob though this thing and unless your corn grew for this product you will waste more then you get to eat. This ones to big, this ones to small, ah this ones just right...my arms are tired, my hands are sticky, never mind I'm not hungry anymore.

this corn kerneler is disappointing because of great difficulty on second half of cob. a good idea but too small in circumference for use in the real world

While this is a very neat idea for somebody that doesn't like to eat corn on the cob it is not practical for anybody but an adult. I bought this for my mom because it hurts her teeth to eat it on the cob. My younger brother tried it out and not thinking pushed the corn all the way though(instead of pulling it from the top) and sliced his thumbs pretty bad on the blade. He did not realize that it would happen. The cuts were bad enough that he needed stitches. It is good for an adult but not at all for children to use. Needless to say it does work, but you really need to pay attention and be careful when you use it.

I have used the U shapped corn cutter for years and ALWAYS got corn all over the kitchen counter. First time I used this donut shapped cutter, my counter remained clean. All the kernals were contained.
Someone had a smart idea and it works GREAT
