I bought this to offer my little kids some different shape options for our traditional breakfasts. Well-crafted and solid - not like a lot of the thin-walled rings we have owned over the years. The nice thing about the heft is that the ring (flower, actually) transfers heat from the pan better than a thin-walled ring. That means eggs and battered food items get cooked on the edge easier. Good stuff.

Eggs get cooked onto the ring, have not been very successful with cooking sprays either.

You could go pretty wild with this gadget. Just don't forget the butter (oil/PAM...butter is better, ghee butter is best). I've made a breakfast bouquet with eggs, hotcakes, bacon, and potatoes. Clean up is also pretty easy. I also own the round rings version of this product.

they don' work very well, you can coat in crisco or oil but the egg does not release without much help
