It's fine
I bought this can opener because I moved & wanted a new can opener. My only dissatisfaction is there is no sharp point to poke a hole in top of cans. Guess they don't make 'em like that anymore?

Very difficult to turn handle
Unlike the 'full-size' Swing-a-Way can openers, which I like, this compact Amco model is extremely difficult to operate.

My former Amco(?) USA-made Swing-A-Way can opener has served me well for most of my adult life, but I thought the cutting wheel was starting to get a little dull, so I bought what I thought was an exact replacement. Oops. This flimsy thing might possibly be competitive with other manual openers, but it is a pale shadow to my old one. You can easily bend this thing's handles sideways; a rivet keeps you from opening it up comfortably wide; and the turn knob is wobbly. You sold out, Amco, for Chinese-made junk. Guess I'll just keep using my old opener another decade or two.

Hard to open cans,

You have to make sure you hold it at just the right angle for the blade to cut. The handle is quite hard to turn. Also, it doesn't usually cut all the way through when you've made it completely around the can so you have to bend the lid back and forth until the lid is weak enough to brake off.

Complete junk, they broke within 30 days. Prior to breaking they were difficult to use. Made from very weak materials.
