I was hesitant to spend so much money on a dish rack, but I needed something to fit the small 8 1/4"" space between my sink and refrigerator, and all the other racks I saw were wider than that. This rack is only 7 1/2" wide, and is perfect for the space. The rack is very well made, and holds much more than I expected - yesterday I had two 8 oz glasses, two 12 oz glasses, one full size dinner plate, one side plate, and a plastic container balanced on top of the glasses, plus of course cutlery. Without the glasses, it will hold a good amount of plates. It is 15" long, so I still have space behind the rack for a paper towel holder and also sink organizer. Please see the pics I posted. * Update 12/20/10. Eight months later, I am still loving this dish rack! It cleans really easily, hasn't rusted at all, and looks just like it did when I first bought it. I've moved house twice since buying it (long story), and it has worked well in every kitchen. *

This mini set is sturdy, well designed, and looks super. "Brooklyn Bargain Hunter" posted two very good images of this set which helped in my decision to buy it (thank you!). To give additional ideas of it's functionality I loaded the rack with four really huge soup/serving bowls (9 1/4"w x 2 1/2"d), four full-size dinner plates, plus one deep 5" bowl - and it loaded without any balance problems at all. The drip tray is strong and fits well, and the roomy cutlery basket stays put. I'm more than pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it!

I have been looking for a dish rack that would fit my side sink. When I ordered this I was kinda in doubt that it would fit. Wow, it did fit perfectly.

If you only have a couple of dishes at a time to air-dry, this is a very handy way to go. Purchased for a small, but fully appointed kitchen in a senior living apt, and it has been the perfect size for one or two persons. Probably work well for bachelors who eat most meals out, and RV kitchens.

Attractive and well made.

The purchase for this rack was not do to a space issue and you'll have more space if you get this rack. Just wanted to eliminate having half of my kitchen stuff setting on my counter top after a meal, it encourages you to put your stuff away rather then keep it on display. This is a quality product made of stainless steel with a strong and rigid polymer drip tray, it's also the most compact dish rack if this is what your after and dishwasher safe. Remember this only allows you to keep a few things out to dry and for that I highly recommend it.

Good design will always get my attention. This drain rack is well designed and looks good considering what hideous products most people use for a drain board.
It is a little small, but works for what we need in our small kitchen. It is not much used for glassware as the glass tend to fall over, but for cutlery and knifes and plates, it's perfect.
The price of $27.99 seemed a bit high upon receiving the product. If I were shopping in a store, I would not have made this purchase as it seems more like a $19.99 product, but since I like the design I will accept paying a little more for it.
Overall I am very happy with the product.

I bought this dish rack based on all the great reviews. Unfortunately, it's only been a couple of months and it's rusting! I find it hard to believe that no one else has had this problem.

It is very well made, materials are sturdy, construction is elegant. But if there would have been a longer size available, I would have preferred it. A coffee mug takes about a little less than 1/3 of the length of the rack and cannot hang on the raised edges; it has to sit in the middle. This eats a lot of the space available. You can only place up to 3 mugs in the middle of the rack and nothing else, or you can hang about 6 plates and nothing else. If the design would have allowed for mugs or glasses to hang on the edges, it would have made this rack very functional. Yes, I drink a lot of coffee. If you just wanted to hang a few things to dry instead of using the dishwasher for those few things AND your kitchen is the size of a matchbox like mine is, this will work great.

The good thing about it is that it makes ME not accumulate too many dishes on the rack. So, it serves two purposes, have something look nice that does not eat up all my counter space, and curves my behavior! I gave it a 4 because it still works great with plates and salad plates, and I love the silverware container.

I would say, if the edges of the rack could be redesigned to hang glasses and mugs, it would make it the perfect dish rack for a small kitchen. If you are not a coffee drinker, disregard my review.

One last thing, among all the small racks I saw, this one seemed to be the best one.

I don't have a lot of counter space and this is perfect. Of course, I can't recommend this for a party where you have dishes from a setting of 8-12 people, but this is great where space is at a minimum. Highly recommend. Have had mine for years now.

Amco Mini Dish Rack Set, Stainless Steel is a great find for tight places. It maintains its' color and, if wiped after use it looks new. Highly recommended for small apartments with small sinks or homes short on counter space. GREAT!
