I found this item when searching for an Oneida stainless steel one that looked almost identical, though heavier. As it turns out, this was was almost identical, only it was lighter and easier to use. It seems to wash and wear well in spite of being light. I intend to buy a few more, as it has been ideal for turning pancakes, eggs, and even burgers in the skillet. The price was also attractive.

I am really impressed with this Amco Slotted Spatula - It really feeels good in the hand - the weight is nice and it feels balanced. I was concerned about the handle heating, but it has not been an issue. I like this slotted spatula more than others(more expensive) that I own. I reach for it first!

Nice wide nylon blade and lightweight stainless handle. Easy to use but handle does get hot if left touching the pan. I'll be looking for more from this company.

This is a perfect spatula for turning large items on your Teflon coated pans, of removing grilled sandwiches from your counter top grill.

This was a present to myself. I love eggs over easy for breakfast. My regular turner too often resulted in broken yokes. This has been a wonderful solution. The base is thin so it slides under the eggs easily. It's large enough that it fits under two eggs and it's worked wonderfully. I would have liked a sturdier handle, but it hasn't detracted from it's effectiveness and it's held up well. I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it. It only got 4 stars because the handle is so light weight, but maybe that's a reminder to flip gently.

Exactly what you want in a pancake flipper. Wide, durable, and effective. The handle is a simple piece of stamped stainless but I'm not sure that's bad thing.

This spatula is the perfect size for flipping pancakes (see the photo I posted above). Other spatulas aren't the right size or width and they cause pancakes to droop when trying to flip them--this will cause pancakes to fold or buckle when they're flipped over. This spatula is just the right size for average size pancakes. Of course, it's good for plenty of other items for the same reason, such as frying eggs.

I got this primarily to help remove things from my panini grill. The nylon coating over stainless steel seems of good quality and without any imperfections. Just one note. If you are looking for a flexible spatula, this isn't it. For my purpose, it's great.

I like the sturdiness of this spatula. Its construction and quality for an item under $6 is outstanding. It gets my recommendation.
