Amco Odd Size Measuring Cups, Set of 3

These take the guesswork out of odd measurements. The quality is high and are an asset to my kitchen. I even use the 1 ½ cup measure on the stove to melt butter.

A few years ago, I purchased the regular set, this set and separately a 2-cup and 3-cup. Now I have 10 matching Amco stainless steel measuring cups: 1/8, 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 1, 1-1/2, 2 and 3 cup. Whenever I'm cooking or baking it's rare that I ever need to re-use any particular size. In a recipe calling for 3/4 c. sugar and 1/2 c. peanut butter, you don't have to re-use the 1/2-cup and 1/4-cup to measure the sugar -- you simply use your 3/4 cup size. Having all these cups has made cooking and baking clean-up much easier. Used to have to wash out (or at least wipe out with paper towel) a certain size cup before reusing it, but now that's extremely rare. The ONLY "problem", not REALLY a problem at all, is the 2/3 cup and the 1/2 cup are so similar in size they don't stack together. So, I simply nest all the cups within the 3-cup measure except for the 2/3 cup which sits beside the group, but that's a very tolerable situation. I'm sad I can no longer find the 2-cup and 3-cup size. I'd have liked to order them for my son who loves to cook. Measuring flour for pizza dough, bread, etc. is SO much faster when you can measure it all in one cup! Needless to say these cups are more than worth it, and a purchase you surely won't regret. You might even want to get another set for yourself or someone you love.

I got these along with the set of "regular" sizes and love them. Easy to clean, and do the job. Perfect!

How many time do you wish that you had that odd measureing cup so maybe you don't have to use two of them, well now I have found them . They work great and I can't live with out them...

Most of my baking requires these odd sizes so instead of using two measuring cups, I now only need one for each odd size measure. Great product.

This seemed like a bit of a splurge but I bake a lot and I really wanted a 3/4 cup measuring cup. I have already used it several times. The 2/3 one is handy too. Haven't used the 1 1/2 cup yet. Overall, a worthwhile purchase!

These cups are a great addition to the regular set - in fact, I think you should have two sets! They are great time savers, making measuring accurately very easy. They are extremely durable and wash beautifully, without stains that you sometimes get with plastic types. As a culinary arts teacher/caterer, I highly recommend them!
