After a few attempts and help from my husband, we found the winning combination to make these work well. Follow the directions in the box and here are a few additional tips. 1. Spray inside of molds with Pam or other oil spray and lay them on the griddle. Wait 15 or so seconds to heat. 2. Spoon a small amount of pancake batter into the mold. 3. Use an oven mitt to pick up the hot mold when ready to flip. 4. You may need a butter knife to loosen the edges.
Our 3 year-old loves his airplane and truck pancakes! These are a great deal of fun and not bad to clean. Bon Appétit!

These are great! They are non-stick and so simple to use. They made perfect shapes every time. I do recommend putting your batter in a squeeze bottle of some sort to fill them in. So much fun, my toddler loved his pancakes!

These worked really well with the pancake pen which I also got from Amazon. Definitely follow instructions which suggest spraying w/ pam or the like before using. Not very easy to use when pouring pancake mix from a bowl.

These work well as long as you butter them up well so the pancake does not stick as it cooks. Sturdy and the handles are great but get hot.

Spray with cooking spray / pam and they work like a dream. My 3-year-old really loves pancakes now and it is fun to fill the truck bed or airplane windows with blueberries.

My son and I had a blast making airplane and truck pancakes the morning after they came in the mail!! And he had even more fun eating them!!!!

These pancake molds are great. The first time I used them, I didn't spray with cooking spray, so the pancakes stuck to them and I had a big mess. I tried again with cooking spray and they worked great! My 2 year old loves his truck and airplane pancakes. I'm looking forward to getting the heart and daisy molds when my daughter gets older.

Sadly, while a cute idea, in implementation they're just too hard to use. Difficult to fill, the pancakes peeled apart when I lifted them off, and by the time the bubbles appeared they were too dark on the bottom. Really ended up just making a big mess on my griddle. Maybe the problem was my buttermilk batter is too thick. This would probably work better with a thinner (read, box mix) batter, but that's just not how we roll. I may try again, but a big disappointment.

These pancake molds are a piece of junk! The sides get stuck to the mold and you can't get the dam thing off of it! If they made the sides non-stick like the surface of your pan usually is, that might have worked.
