A great all-purpose set of mixing bowls. The biggest is big enough to let a batch of bread dough rise in and the smallest is still big enough for comfortably whipping eggs or cream. The bowls' bottoms do give them a bit of extra grip which is nice when tilting the bowls to whisk or scrape. They clean up easily by hand and in the dishwasher. Well worth the price. The only reason I would go for a set of all-metal bowls would be because they are better for using as a double boiler or in ice baths - I wouldn't use these bowls for either.
