This is the best-designed and nicest stainless steel mixing bowl I've ever had. I wasn't sure what to expect with the non-skid bottom, but it turned out to be great! The bowl doesn't slide around on the counter when I'm doing strenuous stirring, and it also gives the base of the bowl a little weight, making it more stable. The craftsmanship of the product is top-notch -- no rough edges, sturdy, meant to last for years.
