I have had one of these openers for many years and it has been great. One handle recently broke when opening a bottle with an especially stuck cork, so I ordered a replacement. It lasted about 12 bottles and broke. Amazon sent me a replacement. It lasted four bottles. Either I'm getting lemons or that 5-year warranty is getting a lot of takers!

I have RA and have had a really hard time finding a corkscrew I could "work". This is heavy enough to do the job and it's design is such that it allows me to use it easily, even when my hands are horribly stiff and sore. The worm is sharp enough to penetrate all corks, and it is very, very well made.
