My daughter, who is two and a half years old, just loves this book. If it is not on the table next to her bed to read it at night, she will go running looking for it... She listens to the whole story, and likes making comments over the pictures and the different situations that appear in the book. She is still too young to get all the comical situations, but she laughs a great deal anyway.
The text is simple and although it looks like a more complex book, I would say that it is at the same level as the first "Curious George" books. So if your child likes George, she will probably enjoy Amelia Bedelia as well.
The pictures are colorful and funny enough to capture the attention of a child. I also like this Spanish translation; it is clear and captures very well the double meaning of the situations in the book.

This book is really funny!!!!! Yo no sabia que existia una vertion en espaniol pero mis hijas se divertieron mucho con este cuento. de hecho me gusto mas la vertion es espaniol que la yo lei cuando era chica. lo recomiendo es muy gracioso!!!!!!
