This review is from: Amelia Takes Command (Amelia (Paperback American Girl)) (Paperback)
Amelia Takes Command by Marissa Moss is the best book I ever read. The greatest part in Amelia Takes Command is when Amelia got to go to Space Camp and see Nadia. Another part that I like is when Nadia and Amelia get to be the head leaders for a mission when they pretend to go out to space. But they have a little problem when they are out in space, they have to work together as a group because if they don't, they will erupt. This book is way better than Amelia's Notebook, Amelia Writes Again and Amelia Hits The Road. This book is enchanting because it has action, excitement, sportsmanship and cooperation. This book is an awesome and a fine book, and there are lots of pictures on the sides of each page. When I read this book, it was outrageously cool and a BLAST!

I like this book because she uses lot of interesting words and all the pages have pictures. It is about Amelia going to space camp where she sees her best friend. She got lucky and they got to work together. Amelia wanted to be leader in the spaceship but two boys in her group wanted to leader, too. But she got the job! The two boys didn't want to listen to her anymore. It was eye-popping when they were flying in the spaceship. This Amelia book is really fresh!

Not what I expected...,
This review is from: Amelia Takes Command (Amelia (Paperback American Girl)) (Paperback)
"Amelia Takes Command" seems like a completly different Amelia book. Sure, the drawings are the same, but the content is totally different. Young kids look up to Amelia, and your role model shouldn't be ignoring a bully. If you are being bothered by someone, you should tell a teacher or an adult. Also, the whole space camp part seemed just like school. It was mostly about space, there wasn't any "Amelia" in it, just lessons. I am really disappointed in this book.

This was one of my favorites. I laughed when I saw:gemini capsule, apollo capsule, and medicine capsule.

We mistakenly bought Amelia's Bully Survival Guide not realizing it is exactly the same as the one we already own by the title Amelia Takes Command.

Amelia takes Command is a great book. Amelia really wants to go to space camp and she goes with her best friend Nadia. When 3 boys named Evan, Brad and Cory tease Amelia, she ignores them even though she feels totally angry. Amelia has to team up with other kids, and Luther their coach, teamed her up with the nasty boys. Brad and Evan wouldn't listen to Amelia just because Amelia was the commander and she was a girl. When Luther make some changes to the spaceship, Amelia's teammates didn't know what to do. Brad, Olena and Evan froze. But after Amelia figured it out, she was their superhero. Amelia Takes Command is a BLAST to read and it is really COOL!!

I LOVE AMELIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,

This was my first AMELIA BOOK. And what FUN it was. I read parts over and over. And especially her drawings in the margins and white spaces. THIS IS THE BEST DIARY BOOK. I wish all diaries were so much fun. And it made me want to go to space camp. I think there's one in FL and AL. I'll have to see. Two other diary books I liked was The Diary of a Slave Girl, Ruby Jo and The Journal of Leroy Jones, a Fugtive Slave. They don't have drawings, but they have neat photos of slaves and PIRATES!
