5.0 out of 5 stars Just buy it.
Ameno is odd, almost like the techno remix of a celtic chant. It's truely beautiful, and even someone who doesn't like electronica will probable appriceate Quicksilver. I just wish he had a full-length disk out.

5.0 out of 5 stars He's Back!!, May 16, 2001

After a series of mediocre follow-ups to his great self-titled debut album, DJ Quicksilver has finally come back with something altogether outstanding. "Ameno" (pronounced "AH-may-no") manages to perfectly meld the direct, catchy sounds of "pop trance" (think: Darude or Cosmic Gate) with the more atmospheric and ecclectic sounds of early 1990's "pre-trance" (think: Enigma or Delerium). What's perhaps most interesting and appealing about this track is that he has chosen not to simply intertwine these disparate sounds into one continuous melody; but rather has opted to give each its own space -- with dramatic, yet seamless, transitions in both texture and mood resulting in a song that is nearly symphonic in effect. This is clearly a great track, and one which is bound to get a lot of attention on the club circuit.

In spanish ameno means pleasant , and boy is this cd ever. Though it may be a single(like most of his songs) its well worth the money . I really wish all the singles features on amazon.com were replaces with a full album ...i really wish i could have all quicksilvers songs on one cd.

Fortunately, DJ Quicksilver was able to transform a haunting song into a haunting techno masterpiece. It's impossible to listen to this just once. I am not a huge fan of techno but this truly works. ERA should be appreciative of what DJ has accomplished.

It's really good. Gorgeous 'holy' signing wrapped in quite impressive moving trance. It makes you feel (i'm not sure what - but definitely something good). And try to get collective album of Quicksilver: Clubfiels - with 'Ameno', and Power of G.O.D., and Equinoxe IV...
