This didn't work at all with my lamps. I also tried a plug-in and that didn't work. Eventually I bought a touch lamp kit and rewired the lamp. It was easy and works great.

works as advertised.... for most uses i prefer the control that has 3 light levels but for small table lamps this is perfect....

This adapter does not work in any lamp. It seems to be kind of touchy & have to keep adjusting the adapter aound till it lihts up.

This is a great item! With a single tap anywhere on the lamp where there is metal you can turn the light on or off. Great at night for turning the light on in the dark just by reaching out. There is also a model which allows for dimming the light as well as turning it on and off.

This item works with a regular light bulb, but the fluorescent bulb blinks on and will not stay on. I can take the lamp shade and lamp harp off and the fluorescent bulb will stay on, but I want a shade on my lamp.

This product is so easy to install, I did it myself in under 20 seconds. I recently remodeled my bedroom, and the lamps the decorator chose were very tall, so I literally had to get out of bed to turn off the lamp. Now all I have to do is to touch the base and on/off goes the light (the lamp has to have some metal in it for this to work, so make sure it has that available before purchasing). It's just perfect and I love, love, love it!!

I bought 2 of these to convert some lamps we bought years ago from a rooms-to go buy. They work great. Kids love touching it and turning them off and on. Every now and again a bump will flicker it off.
