When I purchased the 1st set (4) of 12" fluorescent lites & the lites failed after a few hours, I returned them to Home Depot, thinking they were defective. I bought another set, & after 165 minutes, 2 of the lites went out.

Would someone please verify what the expected battery life should be using (8) "AA" batteries.

Lasted about one week. I put in 8 fresh batteries that I had just purchased, so it wasn't the batteries. After one week or so, the light just stopped functioning. I would bave rated it one star, but I liked the idea of no cords.

With quality craftsmanship and portability to boot, nothing could top this 12" fluorescent lighting unit. Whether at home or on the go, this product sheds light wherever it is needed.
When I think of light, I think of American Tack's fine products, especially their portable 12" light.
One time, when I was trying to see something far away from a power outlest, and a flashlight just wasn't powerful enough, I used this fine product, and it "illuminated" the area.
There's nothing I hate more than too many cords in one outlet, and believe me, I use a lot of cords. When I need light, and I don't have an extra outlet, nothing hits the spot like this fine product.
