I was a little hesitant to purchase this item with no prior information about it. Many af the newer lights in our neighborhood are dull and they aren't as bright as our old on is. After installing this light I was impressed with the amount of light out out by such a small light box. You can see our house number from down the street without being too bright. The numbers took a little time to get straight but other than that this product is great!

We use these at a resort to light up the cottage numbers. I've tried a variety of these and like this one the best... it's HALF the cost of most of the others, but comparable if not better design & quality. The bulbs are on the brighter side (for our usage), but you can get lower wattage bulbs at the auto parts store.

For some reason lighted address signs are both really hard to find and/or outrageously expensive for what they are. They also seem quite sparingly reviewed. The sign I really wanted ran on rechargeable batteries but was going to cost about $200 all told. I found that outrageous and went with this one as a budget alternative.

Turns out you cannot just directly wire this into your house. You either have to wire it into your *doorbell* (stupid!) which has a lower current--or you have to buy a separate $15-$20 transformer/plug to go into an outlet.

If I hadn't purchased this through a slow-as-molasses 3rd party amazon seller (rather than amazon proper) this would be going back. Now this $20 light is going to cost at least $35. I hate stuff like that.

I ordered this product and received someone else's order with all their information, so it is safe to assume that all my information was sent to someone else, in a world of identity theft this concerns me. I called the company to ship me my order overnight, I was told no. So I canceled the order, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I only needed the cover as a replacement to one that cracked. The unit arrived quickly, and with a minor modification to the cover screw holes, I installed it on the old base. The lettering came in handy as the old lettering had deteriorated. Overall, a good buy. Thanks.

good product, not great but good. easy to install, the numbers were stickers that i placed on the outter side of the cover, that made no sense but hopefully the numbers stay on over time & rains. but price was cheap & i would purchase this product again if i needed.

This product is easy to install and allows for great visability at night. The only drawback is the plastic cover hardens and cracks over time. This was originally installed on my home when it was built 6 years ago. I just replaced it with the same product. For the price..... not a bad deal.

Well, I believe we said we would let you know when this product was installed. Here it goes: AmerTac Westek AL301B Address Sign was easily installed as stated by my spouse. Especially with the low voltage. Unfortunately we had to replace our previous unit which came with the house built in 2006, the plastic blew off and broke. The original unit was still operable, but we couldn't find a plastic cover for replacement, it was too small to fit the base/backing. So we brought the AmerTac Westek AL301B. The same model can be found in Home Depot and Lowes, but the price varied from $19.97 at Lowes and $27.99 at Home Depot, since I was ordering other items from Amazon, I ordered this one for $17.99. I only wish AmerTac Westek would just sell the plastic cover with numbers as a replacement part in a variety of sizes. Looks great! Would include a picture, but couldn't find attach photo button, and it has my address on it that my spouse put on OH so straight, thank you honey, LOL...

Many building codes require the addition of a lighted street number on new construction.This is not a bad idea if you call 911 it will be a plus for them to see the correct adress.This is a basic item to
