I first purchased an Ameribag brown leather bag this size about 5 years ago during a trip to Indiana. I carried this bag constantly as an everyday bag until about 4 months ago, when I thought I'd try a "regular" handbag again. My poor brown leather was looking pretty tired after almost 5 years of daily use.
After trying to find another bag that worked, and then carrying a regular purse for a couple months that I thought I liked, I finally decided that I missed my AmeriBag and the only solution was to buy another.

After loading it up with my things, I felt like I was home again. The pockets are well organized, the silver lining makes it so much easier to find items, and everything is in its place. The leather is good quality, and as I mentioned previously, my last leather one lasted for years.

Now I'm 5'10", and this size is proportioned well for my body, and for what I need to carry. I like the way it hangs toward my back rather than weighing on my shoulder.
If you are a smaller person, you may want to go down a size. If you want more of a back pack function, you may want to go up a size. But if you want a bag that can carry the daily use items and still have room for a camera, paperback, or those pictures of your kids or grandkids, then this is the bag for you.

I have nylon Ameribags in two different sizes and colors and have had them for years. They are work horses and do not show wear and tear, clean beautifully and are really rugged. So, why did I buy this bag? I knew I couldn't wait any longer for the others to wear out. I wanted to treat myself to a leather bag in the Ameribag style. I did not want another brand of bag. I am so used to the compartments, I did not want to stray from the design or comfort.It is a beautiful bag. I would give it "10" if you allowed me to.

I was looking for a great looking bag that would help me get organized. The Ameribag is all that and more. This Bag is a cross between a shoulder bag and a backpack. The size medium featured is actually very roomy, and has loads of compartments for pens, pads, checkbook, wallet, makeup, cellphone etc. (Actually there are more compartments than I even need). The leather is so rich looking, and the bag feels so comfortable on my shoulder. There is a no slide grip on the strap so that the bag stays put on your shoulder. In addition there is a great kep FOB inside so I never have to search for my keys again.

Although this bag is a little pricey; you get what you pay for. It is a terrific bag, that will stay in style and last for years.

This is my second AmeriBag Classic Leather bag. A couple of years ago I bought a small version in sand color, and this time I bought medium in cognac color. I love the small version and I use it quite often. Both colors are nice. Very well designed and made - many practical ideas built-in. I bought a medium size for occasions where small version is - well too small. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I can put so much more in the medium version over the small version. When I go on a trip, I can comfortably put Canon 5D II with 24-105L lens, EF 70-300 telephoto lens and many more items, such as wallet, compact umbrella, guide book, etc. in the main compartment and a bottle of water in the outside pocket. The bag looks much better, so much smaller and easier to handle compared to a traditional camera bag when I do not need much protective padding. Best of all, both AmriBags do not fall down of my shoulder.

Well this back bag is comfortable to carry and holds a goodly amount of stuff.
I get loads of complements on it. the leather holds up well. it isn't cheap but
then again it's leather. the pockets are well thought out. It also travels great.
I have been across country on "three flight days" with it, pretty full, and yet
at the end of the day I had minimal fatigue. RECOMMENDED.

Note: I wanted another bag like this and I made the mistake of ordering it via
EBAGS. They have not sent me the bag, nor refunded my money, or even had
the courtesy to explain after two weeks. A lower price is of no consolation if
you end up with neither money or bag. Order via Amazon and at least you will
get the item.

I got my first AmeriBag 6 years ago, I have 4 now and have convinced several friends to jump on the AmeriBag wagon with me. Prior to my first purchase, I would literally buy about a purse a week, no less than a purse a month. I used my first AmeriBag for 3 years before finally deciding it was worthy of buying additional colors, since it had stopped my crazed hunt for the ultimate purse. I love the storage pockets that help keep things organized, without burying them in a pocket of silk that seems to swallow things up as so many bags have.

I have been told I keep everything including the kitchen sink in my bag, always being prepared for anything. I don't really but that's what friends and clients claim. I do carry a lot of things in my bag though, which makes normal purses far too much to carry and manage with my bad neck, shoulders, and back (I've had back surgery as well) and yet if you hold this bag out from your body it seems SO heavy, yet when you put it over your shoulder, it seems amazingly light, which is so perfect for my needs. I love the medium sized bag with all that I carry for work and personal use (including the ability to cram last minute items in it too, such as books or lightweight hoodies)my mom on the other hand doesn't carry much in hers and she loves the extra small one.

This is a purchase that I promise you, you will not regret. I finally this past week decided with the fantastic price of nearly half off (about 48%) and the fact that I've quit buying purses and saved a ton of money doing so, that it was time to treat myself to the leather bag I'd always wanted. I'm so glad I did, love love LOVE the new leather bag ;)

It's a wonderful bag; and disperses the weight well. This will be my 3rd AmeriBag like this. However, I now realize that I needed a "small." The "medium" is actually pretty big. When I save the money, I will probably order the small.

This is my second leather Bag from Ameribag. I carried my first one almost every day for 5 years before the zipper gave out. I tried a couple of different style purses, but had to come back to this one.

This is a great bag and a great price! I have been using these Ameribags for more then ten years and plan to continue.

I & two of my friends split the cost of this back for my friend who had recently had hip replacement and the doctor told her to ditch the heavy handbag. She had been talking about the Ameribag so we bought it for her birthday in March. She loves it!!!!!
